Pros: Crisp, clear reception, low power consumption/long battery life between charges, talking caller ID.

If you're using the base speakerphone and pick up its handset, the call will automatically be "transferred" to the handset. You can also go back to the base speakerphone during the conversation without hanging up. Some phones (with base speakerphones) do not allow this.

I like how the answering machine is accessible via the handsets. Some people have complained that the answering machine does not have a numeric display indicating the number of messages waiting, but the handsets provide that info. I haven't touched the base answering machine, finding it more convenient to use the nearest handset to manage the answering system.

Cons: Handsets are getting smaller; this can be a good or bad thing depending on your outlook, but the smaller size means that ergonomics are compromised, i.e. distance between the ear and mouth is greater than the length of the handset. Mind you, it's nice how it fits in the pants pocket when working outside.

Starting to get a bit pricey compared to other brands like Vtech but when the features are considered, it doesn't seem too bad.

Other Thoughts: Nice set of features without being overly fancy in a basic, clean, understated design. Takes AAA batteries, meaning no special battery packs to worry about and replacements can be found far and wide, at minimal cost.
