You should buy a digital one if you have an interference, range, or security issue. Other Thoughts: It 's a gamble to buy this phone after looking through all the bad comments. This is inexpensive and you won't get hurt that much even if it fails. I decide to give it to my 3 years old son as a toy the day it breaks. So, see how long it will last ..... Cons: terrible range, I though for sure this would have better range than our ten year old cordless that this replaces and i was wrong Other Thoughts: Cordless phones seem to get more and more Ghz every year, but i think its just a sales gimmick. I dont see the benifit, and other than the nifty features(which i dont use ever) I just want a phone that can get reception in my 1600sq/foot home. 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful. One handset just "searches" even after properly registering it with the main unit. The other handset only has a range of about 10 feet before it drops audio on both send and recieve... RMA PLEASE!
