Great Remote
- Pros: This is a great remote and is very easy to program. As with all products of this type there is some trial and error involved however it's really easy this way.
- Cons: The only bad thing about the remote is it runs through batteries quickly. All of the buttons and the led screen light up when using it and it drains the 2 aaa batteries in only a couple of weeks of use.
- Other Thoughts: I've been looking for a remote that will handle all of my devices. This is the first one I've seen that controls my Buffalo Link Theater media player.
great new toy
- Pros: ease of programing, ability to control all function of devices not just some like most universal remotes.makes it easy for anyone to use your entertainment system.great for the none techies to.i am very pleased and am ordering one for my parents who dont watch there dvds much because they hate trying to switch everything araund.
- Cons: none
Nice
- Pros: Computer based setup is nice, although the actual installation was a bit akward. The wizards to setup what you want it to do are very straight forward and simple to program. Seems to be working pretty good with all of my components so far, with the exception of the myhd-130 in my HTPC box.
- Cons: I wish the buttons were more distinct. Can't feel my way around the remote to get the button I want because they are too close to one another, and all too similar. The LCD doesn't really display very useful information for some of my devices. The top function buttons aren't translucent and have very small text on them, making them indecipherable to those with bad vision.
- Other Thoughts: All in all, it does a decent job, but I would have probablly opted for something I could use more blindly.
