Solid remote
- Pros: Amazing amount of options and program-ability. It's very easy to setup and use on a daily basis. The remote does feel very solid and has that nice quality weight to it. It's been tossed around a few times and no problems. Signal strength is great. You don't have to point it anywhere near the device.
- Cons: Button layout is a problem. The LCD buttons do cause you to stretch your thumb to reach the top buttons. The Play/Pause/etc buttons are on the very bottom which makes it a little awkward to use on the Tivo, but you get used to it. Eats batteries like a Somali at a hot dog eating contest. Can't program media button. It's all but useless. Sometimes IR signals get mixed up due to wide range. Sometimes my Ipod dock turns on when I use it to turn on my bedroom TV.
- Other Thoughts: For those reviews who complained about not being able to prioritize the list of LCD buttons, or it missing certain buttons, you might want to try actually using the software. You can make any button send any command and you can certainly prioritize the LCD buttons. For people who are worried about security, that's just silly. It would be a lot easier to find out who you are and what you own just by reading your reviews here. That's if the magical internet hacks could get your IP and then get your address from your ISP. It's easier to buy tinfoil hats.
ups and downs
- Pros: Excellent price on newegg. Simple and easy to use and set up. Works with a ton of devices.
- Cons: Never turns off, it burned through 4 AAA batteries in about a month. You must be in range of all devices or one of them will not turn on/off, and you'll have to enter the help menu to get it on/off every time. Also, our tv has to cycle through inputs to get to the proper one, and the remote sometimes goes to the wrong input--which involves entering the help menu to correct.
- Other Thoughts: No regrets with the purchase, but I'm switching to rechargeable batteries.

Better than expected
- Pros: Can't beat the sale price. Worked with all 6 of my devices, and they were all in the logitech database, even a WD HD movie box thingy (under multimedia pc's.)
Works awesome for a dishnetwork DVR box.
- Cons: Vizio TVs have only a power toggle command? Lame.
Make sure your devices support "poweron" "poweroff" and discreet input selection like "HDMI1" "Component1" etc. for the best experience.
I wish logitech would let you see the commands in their database before you buy a remote.
- Other Thoughts: If you don't like harmony remotes, it is because you haven't programmed it properly, and/or because your equipment doesn't have the right kind of commands available.
Finally, one remote!
- Pros: Every other universal remote I've had made you need to have the original remote around to take up some slack, but this one is all I need. Very comfortable to hold, buttons are laid out mostly very well, backlight is helpful. Programming it on your PC can take a while, if you want to get it all perfect for you, but it's oh so worth it. :)
- Cons: Some buttons stick a little, and I don't particularly like the video transport buttons on the bottom. Neither are deal breakers, however.
- Other Thoughts: Spend the time with the software, and you will have one remote to rule them all. (Sorry, couldn't resist lol)
Loving It
- Pros: This product is amazing. It does everything that was listed that it could do. I have not owned it for long, but so far I have been impressed on its capabilities.
- Cons: None so far.
- Other Thoughts: I would like to warn potential buyers that this product requires somewhat knowledge of technology. Any average Joe will have some trouble understanding all the features. If you have big fingers, you may have some issues with the closeness of the buttons.
