U should have known...
- Pros: Great tool!!!! My family is big in computers, Looking up weather, news , ect. But their not great at remembering passwords, i got each and everyone of them one of them, all but 5 people use IE. no problems with it, coming up on one year!!!! still works as good as the day i got um.
- Cons: True no firefox support or any other browser for that mater, but come on! it says microsoft right on it, has microsoft ever been that great at sharing??? besides firefox 1.5 is great at keeping passwords.
- Other Thoughts: Great product, and if anyone has a huge problem with no firefox support u can always try and find another, but im sure it wont last/work as this will.
A fun toy
- Pros: It's a fun little gimmick.
Looks neat. You can have it remember all ten of your fingers. I just had it remember my index fingers, then for the middle fingers I had my wife scan her index finger... now each of us can log in.
- Cons: As everyone else says, no FF support...
Also, if you switch from using the "Welcome Screen" for your log on, you have to reinstall the program to get the welcome screen back. Not a problem if you just plan on using your fingerprint. Four eggs for non microsoft support...
- Other Thoughts: Even though it doesn't have FF support, when you're not at a login prompt and you press your finger on the pad, it brings up a little menu. You can then scroll to the "Quick Links" where it has the websites you created a fingerprint password for in IE. It then it opens them up in IE. Makes for quick login to your most used login sites that are not in FF.
Excellent!
- Pros: This thing is awsome! You can login to any website and even Instant Messaging programs (like Xfire) in a matter of a few split seconds! You don't even have to type in the website's address if you already have it setup to log you in because their are qiucklinks that take you their right away.
- Cons: None.
- Other Thoughts: I've noticed alot of people complain about the incapatiblity with FireFox. Think about it, Microsoft made IE, not FireFox. They made the fingerprint reader, so why would they make it work with someone elses program?
