Cheap plastic crank
- Pros: The unit and the radio work very well. Not to hard to crank for a reasonable amount of using time. Very decent AM reception as well.
- Cons: The crank and the internal gear is plastic and you have to be very careful to not break it. I broke it when cranking it from a bit of an odd angle, without a lot of force.
- Other Thoughts: These come on sale under the Eton name, so shop around a bit. If you are forwarned about the crank, and are careful, the unit should be fine.
