Pros: This plays Blu-rays as expected.

Cons: None for the price.

Other Thoughts: The bottom line is: if you don't expect to much then you won't be dissapointed. You cannot expect this player to have all the features of the higher priced models. If you just want a simple player to play blu-rays and dvds then you won't be dissapointed.

Pros: plays all the Blu -Ray movies so far, from red box , using Asus VE248H Black 24" 1920X1080 2ms Full HD HDMI LED Backlight LCD Monitor w/Speakers 250 cd/m2 10,000,000:1, a winning combination , happy to say i did not go the PC route , player is cost effective vs the drive , one source player ,updates are free.

Cons: it did not come with a Hdmi cable, not a deal breaker.

Other Thoughts: if you have a 3d HDTV , an update is in oder, just down load from Panasonic and burn to CD-R , pop in player, let it do its thing ,when done, will kick out disc and your done.

Pros: Easy set up and use. Not complicated in any way. No extras to disctract you or break down.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Super quick shipping. Came with OEM packaging only, no outerbox for protection. Just UPS label slapped on the side.

Pros: If you don't need a internet connection and want an excellent quality bluray player I highly recomment this unit.
Bluray discs load fairly quickly and play without skipping or
hesistation. The DVD upgrade feature is quite decent thought not great. It plays many formats though I've not tested these personally.

Cons: All minor: the remote could be a little better organized but no big deal; the door to the disc player will catch on any
ledge it abuts against.

Other Thoughts: You will likely need to do a firmware upgrade by downloading a file from their website for this unit. Then burning it as an ISO file to a CD, then inserting the CD in
the unit which automatically upgrades. Be careful this takes
a while and the messages on the front of the unit are not very helpful.
