the best
- Pros: make sure to get the wiring harnes that is right.. i followed the splitter info and there is a wire labiled wrong :( that makes me mad
- Cons: dose not hit hard.. well actily it dose; i hooked it up 2 my friends subs and i played "bass i love u" and it killed his battery in 5 min. it hits so much harder than most other head units
dont run the radio on acc for to long it takes a lot of power. when i play any song that has bass it makes the lights dim.
- Other Thoughts: to get it set up is hard.. like the setting.. and the rear AUX dose not work i will be calling pioneer about it!
dose not support all ipods!!! :( supports everything above a shuffle
Everybody hates this thing
- Pros: Very good sound quality. Looks great. Has plenty of inputs for aux devices.
- Cons: Everybody who has seen this unit hates it. The "user interface" is unbelievably un-intuitive. Except for a very few functions, most of the things you need to do requires you to memorize which combinations of pushes, turns, and twists of the main controller knob are needed. Especially ridiculous is the setting and recalling of the radio station presets. It is so easy on a normal stereo and so stupid on this thing. I wish I had gotten something else.
- Other Thoughts: Another stupid thing is the usb port for the iPod is in the BACK! Huh??? There is a 3.5mm aux jack in the front, but the iPod connector is in the back. They supply a long extension cable that you have to run somewhere. Why not just put the jack in the front? Don't buy this stereo for a normal person. This thing is for geeks only.
great radio
- Pros: works great, it's easy to navigate the menus. I made the stock speakers in my 19 cavalear sound great
- Cons: none
- Other Thoughts: i don't know how well the i pod function works, I don't own one.
