Totally worth every penny!
- Pros: Big display, simple and easy to use, rotary volume control, crystal clear tuner, inexpensive, looks nice and sounds great.
- Cons: Does not include a faceplate case like my older car stereo, but the only time I ever removed one was during installation to prevent any damage. How much did I spend on this stereo again?
- Other Thoughts: I am very glad that I didn't spend any more money on extra features I don't need. It is simple to use, much like a factory car stereo. I wanted to spend as little as possible for a replacement stereo in an aging car. I am extremely pleased with my purchase!
P.S. A reviewer mentioned low volume through the aux input. There is a setting labeled SLA if you would like to adjust this.
Good player
- Pros: MP3 jack in the front was my main concern. It also plays burnt CD's, which is something my old (and I do mean old) would not do.
- Cons: Not as loud as I would like with the MP3 player. Does fine on the stereo and CD's though.

Very Nice Stereo
- Pros: Wonderful sound quality. I like that I can adjust the bass, mid, and treble. So much better sound definition than my old stereo. Used to have trouble with a bit of distrotion from my subs with my old stereo, mostly with songs from Metallica and the like. Now they all sound beautiful. Also, has a much finer volume control than my last stereo, and will get much louder.
Blows away the Dual cd player I had in my S-10 before. Was very easy to install. Have no troubles reading the display. Radio gets nice reception.
- Cons: I don't like how you push the volume knob in to change the function. I keep accidentally changing it. Also, the buttons around the volume nob to change the track are rather small and very close to the knob. Gets difficult to push them, especially if you have a pair of driving gloves on. I also wish it would stay on the clock display. Skipping songs seems to change it back to displaying the track info.
- Other Thoughts: My cons are really just minor complaints. I know its a long list, but I do love this stereo. Really has wonderful sound quality.
Noticed something odd about the volume nob, if you spin it really fast, it doesn't turn up the volume. you have to go nice and slow.
Overall all though I really like this stereo. I got it for a good price, sounds very nice, like how adjustable the custom equalizer settings are, and the display is easy to read.
