Pros: Great Sound Great Features Great Price (502.99) out the door! You just won't find the quality and value that Onkyo provides for a HTIB. My buddy has a Yamaha receiver and Klipsch speakers and he paid $1300.00 dollars and can't believe I only paid $500.00 and have 7.1, HD DTS sound, 4 Hdmi input 1 Output. You don't need optical cable for sound because this receiver can do both high def sound and 1080p thru HDMI, makes setup very simple.
Cons: None. Well I would definitely get at least 16 gauge HD speaker wire, the wire they provide is pretty weak, but that's nothing I would really consider a con. Nothing a trip to Radio Shack can't fix.
Other Thoughts: Get it, you just won't find a system that offers the features, quality and price for this kind of money in a HTIB.

Pros: + Amazing sound details - excellent sound processor + Woofer producing good bass + Maintains perfect balance of sound quality for different modes: Music, Movies, Games (This you find not in all HTIBs) + Full HDMI support (both audio and video). + Music: * The detailed original sound from every instrument is great * Very good voice level and quality * The drums and the bass guitar sound is very real. + Movies/Games: * Nice voice clarity * Explosion, gunshots, accident sounds are great
Cons: - Not the best looking overall - Could have had a better display - Auto calibration reduces bass (so I turned down the woofer before calibrating and it is much better) - Expensive - Neighbors are not happy
Other Thoughts: * Heavy! 70lb * It warms up a bit, but I live in Buffalo so that is not a problem...,lol * I noticed a little delay (may be in few milliseconds) when I connect and play my Yamaha keyboard. Then I turned down something like sych settings and it is much better. * So far I am satisfied
How long do I own? 2 Weeks Would you recommend to a friend? Yes
Disclaimer: This is not a complete review as I am using the product for 2 weeks only. I ordered 6 speaker stands and I need to set it up and have to observe surround effects more. Most probably I'll update this in a month or so.

Pros: Good price, great quality. Sound is awesome, I recommend the included microphone based speaker setup once you have your speakers where you want them.
Cons: throw the speaker wire away, get good quality stuff. I am 46, need reading glasses to see working on remote buttons! However it just takes a week or so to learn what's what.
Other Thoughts: Instructions were reasonably clear, I was able to get the remote to control power for LG blu-ray player and Sony HDTV and DirecTV cable/sat box pretty easily. Just keep entering codes until you get the right one, try each to see if it works.

Pros: Everything. Sweet setup. if you have ps3 you will need to let the ps3 do your actual decoding and just pass it through your reciever. your reciever will just show multi channel (not DTS-HD) but you are getting DTS-HD (as long as your ps3 says it)
Cons: buy better gauge wire, like 12g for the front 3 speakers and probably just some 18/16 gauge for the back speakers. and also con would have the be the complaints from the neighbors.

Pros: Sound is amazing. Great price. The receiver works really well. I have no problem playing stander tv or hd tv from hd cable box all trhough my hdmi. I play xbox360 and PS3 w/ blurays throught this that sound and look amazing.
Cons: Speaker wire is horrid, grab better wire. Auto sound calibration messes up bass. Had to maunally reset bass levels but no biggie.
Other Thoughts: Have this hook to an optoma hd projector to a 92" screen and it works like butta...
