Good buy
- Pros: Sounds great.
Lot's of options for tweaking the sound. Wires can disconnect from speakers for easier installation. Lots of features for the price. Small sized speakers but they pack a punch.
- Cons: Doesn't work with my universal remote.
Love It!
- Pros: - most features for the $$$
- great audio with Dolby and DTS decoding - speakers are fairly small and conservatively styled to blend in - can interface with USB drives and USB hard drives - subwoofer can be dialed down if you share a wall with a neighbor - sleek unit design - remote can work TV's basic functions
- Cons: - only one optical in, no coaxial in
- only 2 RCA AUX-INs - no s-video out (or HDMI out, but that can't really be held against it since it's not an upconvert DVD player)
- Other Thoughts: Bought it for the DVD player and surround, but love it for the USB host! It accepts FAT32-formatted HDDs and plays MPEG, WMV, and AVI files (both DivX and Xvid, with somewhat limited support for Xvid).

Best for the price
- Pros: Features. 5 discs, DivX, USB.
- Cons: Non so far.
- Other Thoughts: I used to have HT-Q70. I did not use HDMI, and wireless(spending more than $150 for wireless adapter does not make any sence to me). Let tell you, accept wireless and HDMI HT-Q40 has averything the same(800W VS 1000W you will not notice difference anyways).
