Another Excellent Samsung Product
- Pros: People really have bad strokes of luck. I have never had a bad experience with newegg and their products. People complain about the packaging not being good and that the player will not update correctly. This is just NONSENCE, if you read and do things right the first time when updating you won't have these problems. Im running the latest firmware fine, install no problem, took 2 minutes, and a couple buttons to push. Other people's reviews make people think twice about this product......... don't worry about them and buy this, it does what it was intended to do, and it does it magnificently!!

- Other Thoughts: I had no problems with packaging. It was packaged great with bubble rap and air bags. I updated the player Via USB. Everything went great. I fired up the player and watched Black Hawk Down in Blu Ray. Picture is absolutely amazing. This is another quality made product by Samsung, and sold by Newegg. Incredibly fast shipping. My player came with everything, Manuel, HDMI cable and even batteries for the remote. I cant not belive this thing is used.... there is not even one scratch on it!!!
Refurbish
- Pros: None
- Cons: You get what you pay for. Worked for five minutes then froze. This thing is junk and newegg should have never put this item for sale.
- Other Thoughts: Spend the 300+ and get a desent player
1ST Blue Ray
- Pros: Shipping was ok, Bubble wrapped. Quick delivery! Wayto go Newegg!!
Plug n play with my Samsung 52" AnyNet picked up the DVD player and configured it automatically.
No problems at all viewing DVD. Upconvert worked very well.
I have not tried a blue ray yet.
Did not need a fimware upgrade.
Just like brand new!!

Remote works, but my samsung TV remote controlled the DVD playertoo. So I will just use it.
I would seriously consider getting a Samsung Surround sound if it is this easy to hook up components.
