Pros: These speakers sound great, especially when they are on sale. The sub woofer is just amazingly clear and powerful.
Cons: The speakers are plastic, instead of metal like my old Klipsch Promedia Speakers.
Other Thoughts: Personally I don't think that they are worth $600 bucks, but if you can get a bundle deal that includes a free receiver then I highly recommend them. Also make sure that you have 16 gauge speaker wire and wire strippers as this is not a HTIB.

Pros: Absolutely stunning sound, LOUD, looks great, Better than a theater in my humble opinion.
Cons: subwoofer can be touchy- hard to find right medium (reason one for one egg reduction) , price a bit high... guess I'm just cheap. Doesn't come with ANY cables, for $599 retail price, should have came with a spool of speaker wire and a subwoofer cable (reason two for one egg reduction)
Other Thoughts: Absolutely wonderful, very happy with the sound quality. Purchased speakers and got a sony reciever with it for free, the only thing that I could justify spending so much on a new set of speakers was that I was getting a new hdmi reciever to power them. Have my HD cable and ps3 hooked up through the speakers and they sound great, once I got them setup in receiver correctly they sounded amazing. Tested with Transformers on Blu Ray and they blew me away, short of the sub being a little less than stellar (weak point of system) but I can't be too picky, I'm just used to a competition subwoofer Final thought - Worth every penny with free receiver, by themselves I would have NEVER spent $599 for them. If you are hesitating to buy them, DON'T. Just DO IT, you will be happy!

Pros: Small but very loud and CLEAR! Beautiful piano black finish (Make sure you have a microfiber cloth to clean after install).The bass is perfect on every movie I put in. Heard every detail in Transformers, Spiderman 3 was awesome, Monster vs. Aliens had great surround effects (That movie has great sound) during my little test run. Center speaker is what surprised me most; voices were really clear. No distortion at all! Sub is more then enough for a room about 15x20. When it gets a strong bass signal, like in Spiderman 3 during Sandman's transformation, It really kicks.
Cons: Price. Luckly I got these while on sale, so it didn't hurt me to much. Also the back clips for the speakers to connect the wires can be annoying at times.
Other Thoughts: Very good small speakers! Got mines connected to a Onkyo Tx SR507. I had JVC speakers before these, and my JVC had distortion at higher levels. These Klipsch didn't. Would buy Klipsch over any brand in future.

Klipsch HD500

Pros: Great small footprint performance. I was a little concerned with the small speaker size filling a 15'x18' valted ceiling, open room. Granted it doesn't have the punch of my full size home theater set up, but I am in NO Way disappointed with the performance. Actually it is VERY IMPRESSIVE. The clarity & bass are way above the small package. A friend even asked if I was sure they were the ones connected (@ first listening) before I took out my full sized speakers. Having built speakers and had many set I was a firm believer in size/volume were important for good sound quality. The HD500 changed my opinion. My wife & kids think they are amazing for such great sound to come from a little package.
Cons: The spring clips appear disappointing, but they're functional so it's really not an issue.
Other Thoughts: Listend to a lot of other similar spealers and the Klipsch delivered the best value. They are not the cheapest, but I'd recommend spending the extra $ if you can. They are small enough to blend into any decor and provide solid audio performance. Like them so much we used it for everyday TV viewing as well as movies and gaming.

Shut your eyes and listen to the music

Pros: As a former Dj and lifelong audiophile I have a certain love for music. I love to relax shut my eyes and listen to music, listen to the highs, the lows, the separation and most important the clarity. While my love for music is of a high caliber I should add I’m not made of money so when it was time to replace my current system I wanted to keep it under $1000. I looked at the bose systems but they often cost more for less. Klipsch has a long history of making fine products and when I seen this set with Bonus Yamaha amp I was sold. The speakers are small in size but of high quality. They have a good weight and sense of solid design under a high gloss black finish. The sound quality of these speakers are excellent, They have fantastic Highs and mids. I was unsure of the subwoofer at first, it doesn’t have the normal “unnecessary booming” of most speaker systems of the under $700 range. At first I thought it might be set to low but after testing it Im very happy with it (the sub) on
Cons: The mounts turn either left - right or up and down.... not both.
Other Thoughts: Some people are complaining about no speaker wire in the box but to be honest you want to buy some nice wire for these (I would sugggest monster cable) so any "pack in" wire I wouldnt really use.
This package is at its best value when it includes a amp for free - new egg is very good about running offers of this type. Just keep watching.
I would suggest you buy these, place a good source (like DDD cd) and give your ears a treat.
