This TV will be a buy in christmas. Cons: None Other Thoughts: To Freeman, just to let you know that in Mexico theres a lot electronic companies that build some of the best electronics devices, theres a lot of companies, some big names, that trust on the electronic hand from Mexico, I can assure that a 99% of the devices manufatured in that country last a long time. Not having to deal with a sound system outside of the tv is a good thing for us. 37 inches is a perfect size for most apt or condos. Hooked a pc up to it w/o a hitch. Cons: Not a show stopper, but the favorites button on the remote is in an awkward place. Other Thoughts: 720p vs 1080p .... IMO there is still too much of a buzz concerning who REALLY is getting 1080p quality. For example I recently read an article that asks: How does your cable provider compress the discovery channel vs HBO? I mean if i have to research these types of things to find out if I made a good investment on a 1080p display, I'll just settle for 720p and upgrade when the dust settles. I also connected with my computer. Cons: After 1 & half moth, LCD is just gone. Time was perfect. After 1 month, I can not refund or exchange to Newegg. I should contact to manufacture. To big for carrying by my self...Any way I am unhappy. Other Thoughts: I know Samsung is great company for LCD Manufacture.This product was made in Maxico... The sound system (TruSurround) sounds great. The 8000:1 dynamic contrast isn't the best but it still delivers a very sharp picture. In short, I love this TV!
