Awesome tv!
- Pros: Outstanding picture. Runs 1080P through the vga hook-up to my pc. The pc is now the center of my HD gaming and movie system. I'm running the computer, PS2 Dreamcast and nintendo 64 with the aid of my Pelican system selector. Gaming on the pc looks awesome on the big 32" screen. Text is easily readable when online and the contrast is actually brighter then my 19" flat panel. Just upgraded to a faster cpu and a GT 7900 video card to take full advantage of HD gaming and movies.
- Cons: UPS.....UPS...The idiots actually dropped the tv off the back of the truck. Amazingly there was * no damage to the tv and it actually still worked. A glaring testiment to the great build quality and the great packing by Viewsonic.
- Other Thoughts: If you're thinking about buying this tv, just do it. I think you'll be happy with your purchase. I know I am.
GREAT
- Pros: whats not to like, great picture, widescreen, flat panel, for less than what you'd pay for junk at a retail store, plus with a viewsonic name, you know its quality
- Cons: not enough av:s-vid inputs, just one of each, limits on how many consoles you can hook up without buyin a switch
- Other Thoughts: for its size, its suprisingly light, didnt need anyhelp when it showed up 2 days after i ordered it to unload it and get it upstairs. remotes not great, but it works, would like to see newegg carry the wall mount for it, alas, i'll have to buy that from the company
Amazing
- Pros: amazing picture, low price.. A LOT bigger than you would think.. definately make sure you have enough room, sound is great, and more inputs than noted here
- Cons: takes maybe a couple seconds to switch inputs, but i dont think its a big deal at all, definately something you can live with,
- Other Thoughts: get this tv, i thought about it for a long time wether i should or not, but finally just went for it. I am glad i did, get this tv now, you will not be disappointed, as always Newegg shipped immediately and i received it the next day!
