Leveraging their years of experience in computer monitor design and manufacture, ViewSonic now offers a line of LCD HDTV/monitors. The N3752w has a 37" widescreen with a 1000:1 contrast ratio and a 500cm/m² brightness rating for bright clear pictures.

Tech Level: somewhat high - Ownership: 1 month to 1 year
Pros: With the 3 HDMI input, VGA input, stereo output, and component inputs this T.V. makes me very happy. The picture is clear, even better when I hook an HD tuner up to it. HD looks great and a little box tells you what resolution the channel is in. Video games look fantastic (Wii at 480p), and when hooked up to a computer it looks awesome.
Cons: I tell everyone of my friends who grabs the remote that they may not throw the remote at the T.V. There is an issue with the T.V. that after you turn it on, the remote is irresponsive for thirty seconds. If you can get past this, the T.V. is fantastic.

DO NOT SHIP UPS
Reviewed By: digitalain on 7/25/2007
Tech Level: somewhat high - Ownership: 1 month to 1 year
Pros: I originally ordered the N3751W from NewEgg, but when I received it, UPS had smashed the top of the screen, so this is what ViewSonic replaced it with. Excellent TV. I use the t.v. with my computer through the HDMI port, and my XBox 360 through the VGA port (however I run my audio through a stereo). PIP features are a nice touch. You can do a small picture in one of the corners, or you can split screen side-by-side. The aspect ratio and zoom functions work nicely, but the XBox picks up the slack when the t.v. can't cut it. Picture quality is great. VGA is a bit washed out, but looks amazing after tweaking. Plenty of connections, YAY for 3 HDMI!
Cons: Remote control is at times unusable. If you plan on buying this t.v., plan on investing in a new remote.
Other Thoughts: Overall great t.v. The faulty remote is not a big deal compared to what the t.v. has to offer. Whenever you switch the t.v. channel or switch inputs it shows you what display mode your in. I once connected the 360 via the composite cable, and it said I was in 1080p mode.... But there is no 1080p mode!
Last thought,...DON'T SHIP UPS, BITE THE BULLET AND SHIP IT FEDEX.

37" HDTV
Reviewed By: MR on 11/15/2008

This user purchased this item from Newegg
Pros: Clear Picture, Decent Sound
Cons: Slight delay in remote response when first turned on (5-15 seconds)
Other Thoughts: Good price (sale), good TV, nothing more or less then what I expected. Running 360 (HD), Wii, Comp (HD) on it with no issues. Bit heavy, but sturdy

Pros: Don't really have anything positive to offer.
Cons: Purchased 3 of these tv's approximately 13 months ago after major house remodel. Put tv's in spare rooms and viewing time over the 13 months may total 5 hours on each tv. Since purchase 2 of them have had power supply boards go bad. Since they BOTH went out one month past warranty date it has been a nightmare getting them repaired. I have assumed responsibility however Viewsonic does not make replacement parts. Good luck trying to get anyone from Viewsonic to help you. I cannot more strongly recommend people to stay away from these televisions. I personally will never buy another VS tv or at this point another monitor from them again. Buyer beware.
Other Thoughts: I really don't like writing poor reviews but this has been ridiculous. Viewsonic really should take a hard look at how they treat customers and supports products. Haven't asked for anything other than the ability to buy replacement parts.

Pros: This is an update review of my last. We love the TV and have found a good fix for my problem of the HD memory on basis cable. I switch the input from air to cable. This resets the HD signals and your off.
Cons: None.
Other Thoughts: WE love it. My wife likes to bowling game in Wii sports. THis TV delivers.

An LCD TV for all seasons
Reviewed By: mel on 1/2/2009
Tech Level: average - Ownership: 1 week to 1 month
This user purchased this item from Newegg
Pros: GREAT buy. As others have stated there is a warm up time when first turned on. This is a minor problem. You must return to TV mode before turning off the set. In any other mode it looks for what you were doing , if this device is not turned on you get black screen. Great tv, very nice 37" monitor and plenty of inputs.
Cons: My biggest bug is the fact that every time i turn on the set i must scan for the HD channels. We are on basic cable which broadcast the local HD channels. The tunner or memory for it forgets them. The manual has no mention of how it stores this info.
Other Thoughts: We love it great with the Wii system.
