Pros: Nice picture after tweaking. Not a single dead pixel. Easy to setup. Oh, and 1080 at that price!
Cons: I agree with the other reviews about the stand and remote. We use it strickly as a monitor for DVD, VHS movie playback and have a wall mount so these issues don't come into play.
Other Thoughts: It may not be a Sony but we are very pleased with out purchase.

Ballin' on a budget

Pros: Beautiful picture, nice-looking TV, lots of features
Cons: horrible remote, subpar sound, flimsy stand
Other Thoughts: I don't regret buying this one bit. I use it as both an HTPC monitor and a regular TV. Unless you just want to spend more money so you can brag about having a (Sony, Panasonic, etc.), there's no reason not to buy this.
But...
The remote is awful (and ugly!). When I kept hearing complaints about the remote, I remember thinking "it's a remote. Who cares?" But it is sooooooo slow, and you'll be hitting lots of buttons to get to your station. The tuner is terrible for over-the-air signals, but I got the digital box from the government and it looks just fine. Get a universal remote - you should be able to afford one with all the money you just saved - and call it a day.

Awesome for a HTPC monitor

Pros: If you're looking to build an HTPC or just hook up your PC to a larger screen, I can't recommend this monitor enough due to it's attractive price point. I've watched 1080p movies and played games like COD4, GTA4, etc on this and they all look flawless. My screen has no dead pixels or any other manufacturing defects. Viewing angle is good and response time is excellent.
Cons: This TV's biggest weakness is the TV tuner and the remote. Flipping between channels is a time consuming task and the OSD often misrepresents what channel you're on. Response to any OSD command (like a program guide or channel details) takes about a second to display. One second might not seem like a lot, but it gets annoying. As for the remote, if you're so much as 20 degrees off angle with the direction of the remote, it won't work; you have to point directly at the bottom of the screen for it to work.
Other Thoughts: I cannot recommend this monitor if you're only going to use it as an Over The Air TV. The OTA TV tuner in this thing just plain sucks. But if you plan to use cable/satellite OR as a sole HTPC/PC monitor, this is THE 32 inch monitor for you. I'm personally using it as a second monitor for my PC.
