Saved Settings: NO
- Pros: Nice looking unit. Nice picture quality. Great Price.
- Cons: Does not save settings. Like countless others have reported, my unit did not save settings either. If you don't plan on using the built-in tuner, then I guess you may be able to live with this. If you are using the built-in tuner be prepared to perform a channel scan EVERY TIME you turn the TV on; a process which can take about 2-5 minutes to perform. It also does not save any other settings such as last input used or display and audio settings.
- Other Thoughts: Newegg is always great when it comes to returning items. Hopefully you get lucky and get a good unit that does save your settings, but from the looks of it you probably won't.
Impressed for the Price
- Pros: Didn't have any of the problems I read in previous reviews with storing information in the menu as well as what input it was on before powering off. I even unplugged the TV while it was on and it still remembered what input it was on and all menu settings. Picked up all my cable channels quickly and easily. Picture looked decent and sounded good too.
- Cons: None so far.
- Other Thoughts: Maybe I'm lucky, or maybe they're changing the firmwares in the newer shipments?
I need an RMA
- Pros: Very nice TV for a very low price, if it was not defective.
- Cons: The unit I received will not hold the settings. So, you set the input type from the menu and it all reverts to factory defaults when you turn it off and on. Trying to get an RMA from Newegg on this has been a pain!

Trying to get an RMA from Newegg on this is a pain! You have to chat online. There I was told that I have to contact MAG to see if they can test/resolve the issue before newegg will send an RMA. The phone number newegg gave me does not work. I found MAG's support page online, no phone number, just email for an outside contracter that handles support for MAG. MAG support contractor emailed right back but just said that they do not service that model and referred me back to newegg. Hopefully newegg will now send me an RMA... I am giving it 1 star because it looks pretty good and is a great price, if I can get one that works. The trouble trying to get this RMA was not worth money saved.
