Nice Filter
- Pros: Very effective filter for a compact design. I use it in my office and there is a noticable difference in the air quality, no more scratchy eyes. Great price with the rebate, which I recieved with no problems from DeLonghi. The filter is completly silent on low speed. The filter can actually be wall mounted if you dont have desk/floor space. I like that the ionizer and fan have seperate switches
- Cons: A little noisy on high speed.
- Other Thoughts: I am using the filter in a 10ft by 10ft office. Given that this is not a small space I dont know how it would perform in a large bedroom. If you are concerened about the amount of noise this may not be the filter for you. I run the filter on low most of the time but if the filter is on medium or high it hard to even hear someone on the telephone.
Loud and no rebate
- Pros: Worked great while it worked.
- Cons: Became noisy. Did not get the rebate. Replacement filters are expensive.
- Other Thoughts: I love Newegg but DeLonghi let me down. For the price I wasn't expecting anything super duper. I thought that I would use it long enough to replace the filters at least. My house is relatvely new and I just wanted to keep the air in my son's room a little cleaner because of alergies. I used it for about 2 months until it became too loud for my son to sleep. I didn't get the rebate either. They kept making up stories about why I didn't qualify. After I contacted them a few times and proved everthing they wanted me to prove they went back to the first made up reason. I could tell I wasn't going to get that rebate.

Good choice for very small room
- Pros: An air filtration unit is really only #1 a filter, #2 a fan, #3 a case.
This unit provides good service in all three regards. Filter is certified HEPA and reasonable to replace. Case is very well made, fan is great at low, which is where I leave it 24/7.
- Cons: As mentioned above, fan is good for a very small room, I'm happy with low speed in a 10 x 10 room.
If you need a higher fan speed, you may be disappointed in noise.
- Other Thoughts: If I wanted to upgrade, I'd go to a $350 Alen unit. So for less than $30, this unit really does shine.
not bad for the money

- Pros: Newegg ship promptly
- Cons: Make lots of vibration to my wood floor (at medium speed). bulky
- Other Thoughts: I am now put this is in storage and not used anymore. I feel it's a waste of money.
