5 out of 5 eggsBest Server case I've ever owned

Pros: This case is elegant, stylish, functional, easy to use, big, and very useful for a server. People who like small cases should look at the Lian-Li PC-6077 which is awesome for a MidTower, but lets focus on the star, the PC-7077 which is a HAUS of a case

Cons: Default fans that come with the case aren't all that great, so be sure to replace them with ones you like. The plastic feet on the bottom have week holding prongs, one of mines broke so I'm going to attach the Lian-Li aluminum caster wheels on my case and get rid of those flimsy feet.

Other Thoughts: I've filled up every drive bay with HD's for a total of 16 HD's. 1x RAPTOR 150GB in a CoolDrive Lite, 15x WD4000YR's in 5x Lian-Li EX-23 HD cages. There's also a Pioneer DVD-RW on top, it looks very sweet. Had to canabalize my PC-6077 HD cage that has the Power/Reset switch to get the theme going with EX-23 cages.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent case

Pros: I love this case. I'll never take a chance with any other maker because this is the best. I'll also never go back to a mid tower because the room is so nice here. Smaller is out; bigger and roomier is the way to go.

Cons: None worth stating.

Other Thoughts: I went to a competitor's site to get a glass panel side for this case.

5 out of 5 eggsbig

Pros: Nice case. Lot's of room. Lots of slots. Plent of screws to come with it. Riggid. Nothing chinsy about it. comes with decent quiet fans with an expansion for another on the top of the case. Case fliters mean's less dust gets inside the case. I liked that cause i dont like dust on my heat sinks. Everything fits snug.

Cons: Very big. Make sure you have enough room on your desk. Once minor problem that i had was it would rattle a little. Make sure you pick up some sticky felt pads at the store of someting nd that works great cause the only things that really rattle are the slide off covers. Other than that the thing is solid and doesn't feel or look chinsy at all. One more thing is the cable for the audio ports(headphone/microphone) in the front isn't very long and it couldn't reach the plug in on my mobo which was by the expansion slots. i didn't need it anyway cause i got a fatal1ty soundcard so i dont know if you can get an extension cable.

Other Thoughts: I think this thiong is really meant to be a server case or something. If i had to do it over i would have gotten a mid tower. The case is great but i dont think i needed something this big. I dont have to wmorry about stuff overheating though. It's good like that.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat case!

Pros: This case is big, but very light. The layout is very convinient. I fit in it extended ATX motherboard with no problem. Very flexible design, plus there are available expansion cages and converters for future additional devices. Very easy to set up. It looks very elegant though. On top there is a grill that is covered by a separate plate that can be removed for installation of 120mm fan.

Cons: Edges are a little sharp

Other Thoughts: In situation when 2 monster video cards are used maybe stronger fans could be used.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Nice Case

Pros: Lian Li makes an excelent product. The quality is tops. Great fint and finish and the case has many well thought out features. It has more room than you may need, but if your are a gadget freek like me, and hang lots of hardware on your motherboard, than you may want a case like this. Lian Li makes a lot of accessories for this case. CD rom drive doors to hide the drive (got 2 of those) Drive bay adapters to adapt Floppy drive sized devices to the larger drive bays, and a bunch of blank pannels you can work with to custom mount stuff. Room for 4 internal hard drives, and you can buy additional intermal hard drive bays. The fans are acceptably quiet considering there are 4 fans. One fan is mounted in right behind the front grill panel and cools the 4 hard drive bays directly behind the grill. Comes with a box of assorted screws for mounting whatever you need.

Cons: Basically none. However I was surprised to find out that this case is a full 23 inches front to back and just barely fits on the formica countertops in my home office. So be aware that this case is real long front to back.

Other Thoughts: Another neet feature is that the internal drive mounting bay has rubber gromets and shoulder screws for mounting the hard drives. This isolates the aluminum case from any mechanical viabration from the hard drives and as such prevents the transmission of drive noise into the aluminum case. This manufacturer has it's act together.

5 out of 5 eggsWonderful Case

Comments: This case is huge. Used it for my first build because I wanted a lot of space to work with. I sure got it. The construction of this case is above average. I have had many cases from companies that all feel flimsy. This is a strudy and attractive case.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Nice

Comments: Cavernous, excellent fit and finish. Plenty of space for removable HD trays and coolers. Thumbscrews and rubber isolation grommets are quite handy. The batten assembly to secure expansion cards is a nice touch... especially with a heavy video card. The black bezels for my trays and removable media drives look good on this case. Case is cool as any air cooled case I've used. My prior case was "tool-less"... I much prefer the "bolt-in" method for my systems and this case does it admirably. The feet are a little cheezy and my fingers are a bit fat to use the slot thumbscrews efficiently, but very minor considerations in my book.
This one should last me quite a while.

5 out of 5 eggs

Comments: I bought this case, because a cheaper Lian Li case was not in stack. I'm glad I did. All the bays being 5.25" is a plus. I like everything about this board, except the difficulty getting the hard drives in and out. You need to remove the lower front fan/switch/light unit to get the drives in and out, since the drives are behind that unit and the motherboard/cables are in the way. I may buy a cage and move my drives up in the 5.25" bays. Otherwise, it's a very good looking and well made.

5 out of 5 eggsKiller Case

Comments: I used this case for a cd duplicator, stuffed it full of Plextor premium
52X cdr's, H.D., Controller card, and a Antec Neo PS. There is a lot of air movement inside (need it with 8 burners). The Power supply plate can be moved for several configurations. Has tons of hardware with it. New Egg was very quick on the delivery (as usual) and everything worked very well !

5 out of 5 eggs

Comments: Fantastic case. I own one pc 7077 and 2 pc 6077. I really like the flexability the design gives you. With so many great front panel devices, hard drive coolers etc. all the available drive bays are a real bonus. If you are into the smaller is better trend, then these cases aren't for you. But if you like to tinker like me and are often swapping components, I don't think there is a better overall case on the market
