Quality Is All Over This Case
- Pros: Beautiful brushed aluminum finish, good looking BIG (and most importantly) quiet case.
Superbly engineered down to the last detail, seperate compartments for PSU,cable routing is cleaner, hardware and threaded holes precisely machined.
This case is engineered so PSU fits on the bottom, and is isolated from the mobo and upper portions of the case.
Rubber protectors for the wheels, cable tie offs, and tons of screws.
- Cons: These aren't "cons" in the sense of a negative review or"points off".
You might not be able to connect PATA, UATA drives with standard 18 inch IDE cable.
I had to move one drive to an external USB enclosure, and I'm replacing an internal backup drive with SATA.
My serial cables fit fine, but I suspect that is because I have my C drive in a 5.25 bay.
Instructions aren't detailed, so spend some time getting to know the case.
I am not using the expansion card hold down rail, seems useless as I only have two expansion cards.
Serial cables and drives don't seem to present this problem.
- Other Thoughts: This is a finely enginneered case and worth every penny, tolerances are tight, so you will have to be very careful installing components. This case is not for the inexperienced or first time builder. No screwless rails.
About the screws, some are obvious by their shape,(and corresponding drawings) some are not. They are all mixed, so if the screw fits, use it.Don't force any screws or components.
Awesome Case
- Pros: This is an awesome case! extremely roomy, excellent air flow, quiet, and very well built. I'd highly recommend it!
- Cons: The depth (front to back) of this case is considerably longer than your average case. Make sure you've got the room for it ;)
SWEET CASE
- Pros: Lots of room to work. Solid Construction. GOOD LOOKING.
- Cons: My three Raptors rattle around in the HD cage when they are booting up or using large files. Its not a huge problem but i think the cage design could be tighter. I do like the slide in design though.
- Other Thoughts: This is a spendy case. But like many things in life. You get what you pay for in this instance.
