Ditto on the power supply issue
- Pros: This is no doubt a nice case. Sleek brushed steel look, excellent air flow, three internal fans and a nice "LITTLE" power supply. Works nicely as an HTPC.
- Cons: Do not get this case if you need, or may need in the future, a power supply larger than 350 watts. Standard ATX power supplies do not fit in this case and it seems impossible to find a larger wattage PS that will. After adding a second tuner and an additional hardrive to my HTPC, I now have to purchase a different case just so I can use a larger power supply.
- Other Thoughts: If 350 watts is more than you will ever need, than this is an excellent case.
LOUD
- Pros: Great looking / functioning HTPC case. It has served me well for over a year.
- Cons: LOUD. Much louder than I expected from coolermaster. Yeah I could probably do some work with changing my processor fan, and power supply to something quieter, but there is no dbout that the case is an amplifier for air noise.
Propietary power supply
- Pros: Very solid case
- Cons: It uses a 350Watt non-standard power supply. If your mobo needs more than 350Watts. DO NOT BUY THIS CASE. Not even coolermaster provides a 400+ Watts power supply. Also, the case gets very busy once you put all the hardware and wires, not enought room to work.
- Other Thoughts: The power supply came defective. On the top of that, I did not know that this case uses a non-standard power supply. It uses a “PROPIETARY” power supply. I realized that, when I wanted to replace the defective one and upgrade the power supply to at least 400Watts. I looked everywhere for it, and I could not find a 400 Watt or more that would fit this case. I email coolermaster for help and after 6 days of not hearing from them, finally I got a response saying they only make a 350Watts power supply and there was nothing that they could do. Fortunately, newegg has a great customer service. I was able to return the case and get an Aspire.
