The Stacker 830 Evolution is designed for people who need monster airflow in their case. It comes with 120mm fans in the front and the rear of the case. There is room for 2 more fans in the front depending on drive configuration, 1 on the top and a whopping 4 on the swing out fan mount. The sides and front panel are all mesh to minimize any restrictions on air movement.
System assembly is a breeze with this case. The motherboard tray slides out the back with the back panel attached so you can install the board and any expansion cards then slide it all back into the case. The expansion slots have thumb screws so you don't need to worry about finding a screwdriver. A 4-in-3 drive module will hold up to 4 hard drives in three 5.25" bays and it comes with its own fan. The other 6 exposed bays are tool-less for easy install.
Powering all of this is the Real Power Pro 1000 PSU. Pumping out 1000W there is plenty of power for all of your drives and fans. The PSU has its own 135mm fan to add to the cooling. Sixteen drive connectors and six PCIe connectors will let you fully load out the system.

Definitely Worth It
- Pros: I think I read every review here to make sure I bought a good case and I'm certainly not disappointed by this one. I wanted to be sure I had plenty of room to work with and expand which this case easily provides. If you're looking to air cool, this is definitely the way to go. I like the two vented side panels and the option to have so many fans. I was able to easily get the 92mm Zalman all-copper CPU fan in there along with my 8800GTX (longer than most cards). The 1KW supply offers plenty of room for growth. The best part of this case, IMO, was the removeable mobo tray. This makes installation of cards and your CPU/fan very easy (no need to lay the case on the side or whatever as someone mentioned). Access to drive bays was a snap (I think I used a single #1 philips screwdriver for everything). Overall, there are more pluses to this case than minuses.
- Cons: These are pretty nit-picky items but things to think about. Cable management can be a challenge, especially if your video card requires dual PCIe power harnesses. You have to be sure to keep these power cables in far enough so they dont hit the side panel fans. There are far more power cables than most people will probably use - I think I would consider a more modular PSU next time. The power cables are quite cumbersome and unflexible, especially when the have like 6 SATA power connectors, etc. That's about all that came to mind.
- Other Thoughts: I would definitely get this case again should I have to build another PC. No doubt is this thing sturdy. Pay attn to what extensions or adapters you'll need for fans and such. I think to connect the top exhaust fan, you'll want an extension. Also, one of the front panel cables (reset?) uses a female 3-pin while my mobo required a 2-pin. An adapter was easy to find but just something to keep in mind. Also, having 1 or 2 Y-cables for your fan headers come in handy.
By far the best aircooled case I have come across
- Pros: The side fan rack REALLY helps with an SLI setup, my top card was sucking up the heat from the bottom card and crashing (dual 8800 ultras) until I installed the fans in the side bay... now both cards are sucking up air directly from the outside and are running nice and cool.
You can fit a total of 7 fans in this baby! 4 140MM fans (in the side bay) and 3 120MM fans or simply 7 120mm fans.
You can replace the ceiling fan slot with a hard drive (its interchangeable), and then you will ONLY have 6 fans ;)
note: I was able to attatch a 5th hard drive in an internal 5.1 bay using the floppy disk 3.5 to 5.1 converter... I don't use floppy disks anyways.
Motherboard tray slides out, I had to modify the internal hardware several times and each time it was easy as heck to just slide the tray out and go to work.
- Cons: If you're using the thermalright ultra 120 (or the extreme version) you won't be able to use one of the fan slots on the side fan rack as the heatsink will take up the room for the fan in that slot.
- Other Thoughts: You can NOT buy a better aircooled case PERIOD, and this is comeing from someoen who owns several lian li cases.

Best case ever.
- Pros: Huge.
Best ventilation ever seen. Ultimate in expandability. Easiest case to work on ever. Built like a tank. 1kw PSU laughs at everything I've thrown at it.
- Cons: 4 snaps that hold on the HDD fan aren't easily put back on once removed.
No really--that's it. Perfect 5 egg case.
- Other Thoughts: I have put a triple SLI mobo complete with 2 HUGE 3870x2s and 6hdds, 2 dvd/BRD drives, and every single fan. OC'd Q9550 to 4.4GHZ, and the system doesn't even blink. Great PSU. Lots of wires, but this case has room for 'em. Can't think why this case could possibly get fewer than 5 eggs.
GREAT!!
- Pros: Very easy to work with.
- Cons: I thought it was smaller by the photo but i was able to make it work next to my desk.
- Other Thoughts: i own it for about 8 months now and it is perfect for my needs.
great case but bad cpu wires
- Pros: nice case good ventilation removable motherboard tray
- Cons: the power supply wires do not detach and take up a lot of room needs better management or less wires one of the two
