Remember when every computer case looked the same and was a color charitably called “putty”? Well, they're still available if you want them, but you can also get a gleaming mid-sized ATX-compatible tower with LED highlights and a plastic viewport into the guts. A 420 watt power supply provides enough power to do more than just light the pretty lights, too.
Ten drive bays and seven I/O slots give room for expansion, and a front panel LCD display tracks the internal temperature. Two fans with LEDs keep everything cool while illuminating the interior, and if they're not quite enough, you can add up to three more fans. You can also access your audio and your USB 2.0 from the front panel.
If you want a computer that is as much show piece as it is working tool, then perhaps this is just what you're looking for. Check it out and decide for yourself.

Looks great with UV accessories
- Pros: Looks Cool. The side window can be rotated 180 degrees to reposition the fan (improves the view of motherbaord area, but impedes air intake). You can mount large power supplies with the top fan installed, mine is 170mm deep (Aspire ATX-AS520W) only a few mm to spare.
- Cons: With top fan installed the max depth of Top Drive (CD/DVD) is approximately 187mm. You cannont move the drop down drive covers to the lower two bays without modification (notching the plate mounts there). Side window is difficult to mount on opposite side of case especially with a 80x25mm fan installed. Side window can't be rotated 90 degrees to reposition the fan its rectangular (not square, can rotate 180 tho), and cannot be flipped (it is fitted to the window). The bottom of the case is a bit weak, one of the feet flexes and needs to be reinforced. The two front 80mm intake fan mounts are too close together to use with CCFL fans. The motherboard tray is difficult to remove install, but it can be done, with the MB mounted. The temp probe can't reach everwhere in the case even if you re route it (tho it can reach a bit further than stock). The front sound port cable is just plain stupid, it uses a mini-jack and needs to be run across the case and out the back to the outside.
- Other Thoughts: You can purchase non retail extra parts from the manufacturer, I bought a second side window panel and several more temperature probes / LCD readouts. Get a 120mm exhaust fan, it will also take a 92mm or 80mm. Make your top fan exhaust, heat rises, and you don't want dust being blown in from the top.
I've built many PC's with this case
- Pros: Good ventilation, temperature readout, easy connections, looks great, front USB 2 ports
- Cons: Expansion slots tabs need to be broken off. I installed my mobo and realized there were capacitors that would get ripped off the board if I removed the tab for the PCI Express slot. Had to remove the motherboard. Why can't they just use screws?
- Other Thoughts: I've built something like 10 PC's for self, friends, family, and co-workers with this case and never had an issue other than what I wrote above. Info here says the case is steel but it seems more like aluminum since the metal is thin and flimsy - but that is better for keeping the case cooler.

Nice Case
- Pros: This case is a nice case. It has loads of cooling options and the construction is sturdy. I purchased my case 5 years ago and I never had a problem with the temp gauge or the L.E.D.s. I am also using the original power supply that came with it. I believe that my case is the second generation. The first one had a horrible PSU that had grounding issues and used to cause static buildup. The thermometer is accurate for case temperature. I have an AMD Processor and I have no (NO!!) problems with cooling (See Below in CONS). Apevia has a great product for the price situation. I currently have 4 320GB SATA HDDs, three optical drives
- Cons: Comes with 2 fans. I've added 3 more. If you configure them right you will have awesome cooling. My configuration is as follows. Top Fan: Blowing Up and Out. Side Fan: Blowing in at CPU. Rear Fan (Added 120mm): Blowing Out the back. Front Fan(s) (Added two 80mm): Both Blowing in to compensate for the 120mm Fan.
General working temp is between 24 and 29 degrees Celsius. Which is a nice case temp.
- Other Thoughts: Newegg is the best online company for computer parts and electronics. Thanks Newegg.
- Pros: I've owned this case for over 6 years now, and the case has held up very well. Good sturdy construction. Paint has been very scratch resistant. OEM fan bearing have help up well.
- Cons: Several of the front LED's have died and replacing them seems to be very difficult. The LCD in the front has recently stopped working. The fan at the top died after 5 years from what I believe to be the vertical mounting position wearing on the bearings.
- Other Thoughts: The case has been in operation a long time, so some electrical failures aren't too surprising. The location of the side fan is right above ATX CPU's, so if you use a large aftermarket CPU fan, it might bump into the cases side fan.
I've been happy with my case and for the money, this is a good case.
Nice case overall
- Pros: Looks nice. Very quiet case. I added an Antec 120mm fan as well. Case temp stays a cool 80F even with three hard drives and additional silent video card. (need to use S-video temporarily). Also purchased from NewEgg. The side window is a nice touch, especially with the illumination provided by the fans.
- Cons: Blue lights on front are obnoxious. Too bright for HTPC use! I disconnected them. Power supply is basically junk. Power supply had no SATA power adapters, nor was there any adapters provided. Today's hardware demands SATA! Wires were kind short too. I replaced mine with a 550W from someone else.
- Other Thoughts: Would use case again for another build. I felt it was a good quality dispite the nominal power supply included.
