The TU163 from Apex is a solid case that is designed for easy setup so you can get up and running quickly. The four external 5.25” drive bays have a tool-less locking system that makes installation a snap. The two external and one of the internal 3.5” drive bays are on a quick release rack. Motherboard installation is just as easy since there is plenty of room and unobstructed access for your ATX or microATX board.
The back panel has a 90mm fan for increased airflow inside the case. If you are running lots of expansion cards and are in need of extra airflow then you can install two 80mm fans in the front of the case and they can blow air across the cards to keep them cool.

Solid, easy tool less, big
- Pros: Solid, functional, thick metal, no sharp edges, only case I've ever worked with where I didn't end up slicing myself on something. Power supply actually has sata power (only 1 if I remember but still neat for a free power supply)! and good enough to handle a core 2 duo, full size atx board, radeon x800gto (from powercolor), sata drive, and sony 18x dvd-burner. Really impressed with the easy front usb installation, (the cables were all together instead of all separate and tiny)USB2 I might add. Optional front audio ports seem easy to use but my mobo wasn't compatible, ok if I had a sound card I guess. Tool less design is easy, pop off front basil (it is got metal hooks you just push together) thumb screws for drives and then just slide them in and it locks itself. Smoothest installation I've ever had, and the thickest metal I've seen in a case in a long time
- Cons: Not really a "Full size", came with only one fan, kind of heavy, plastic feet unfortunately, not the most beautiful case, its a little fugly but very functional,
- Other Thoughts: If your into the whole terminator look you should probably just use it with out the front basil, I really don't like the bulge it has at the bottom, but thats just my personal opp. I really can't say enough good things about it. I couldn't believe how easy this installation went. I think I'll buy an APEX case for my next build. Or at least a real full tower.
Excellent Case!
- Pros: The airflow is excellent throughout the case. Comes with all the nuts, bolts, screws, and fully detailed instructions (yes lots of pictures of the components for installation).
- Cons: Like others say its not a true full-atx just a mid-atx but does fit a full-atx motherboard just fine.
- Other Thoughts: AMD Athlon 64 FX-62 Windsor 2.8GHz, ASUS M2N4-SLI AM2 NVIDIA nForce 500 SLI, A-DATA 2GB DDR2 800, TWO EVGA GeForce 7600GT 256MB 128-bit GDDR3 running in SLI, Seagate Barracuda 320GB 7200 RPM SATA, Western Digital Caviar SE 160GB 7200 RPM 8MB SATA, Thermaltake ATX 430W Power Supply

Excellent Case and Solid Construction.
- Pros: The great thing about this case really is the solid construction. With a full size ATX board this machine has a significant amount of room. The machine itself is a continued construction from Apex, they seem to use these internal workings quiet often, see other APEX Cases if you don't believe me.
- Cons: The front bezel depending on when you bought it either has screws to hold the front or not. Making the bad mistake of not checking I realized the one I bought did have these screws and basically broke the front bezel.
- Other Thoughts: This case is really nice for putting together an office machine. Word of advice, buy yourself an extra 80mm fan and a 92mm fan. Put the 92mm in the rear of the case, the 80mm that comes with the case, put that in the front and the 2nd 80mm right next to that one in the front. This way you have a significant amount of air flow. If you really want (which I have also done), take the air tube which is on the side of the case, remove it and replace it with another 80mm fan. Of course have that one blowing in, which will blow directly onto the processor. Make sure the 92 mm fan you buy has a high CFM flow rating (60+ is good) to exhaust as much of that excess air that your blowing into the case, out. Or else your temps will rise significantly since all your doing is circulating hot air around.
Great case
- Pros: Great case. Does everything you would expect for a $50 case. Very sturdy and clean looking. Came with all the hardware you need to install your expansion cards, botherboard, and drives.
- Cons: Don't use the PSU it comes with unless you're making a very low tech computer. If you do use it know it only have one SATA connector. You'll need an adapter if you want to use more than 1 SATA drive.
- Other Thoughts: At least one of the reviews said the drive bays on the bottom of the case are useless and just scrape metal off the drive. No, they're not useless. Read the directions, if you remove the release screw the whole carriage folds open and you can set your drive on the pins, close the case and you're good to go. Sometimes it helps to look at the instructions...
decent
- Pros: good case and power supply for the price
- Cons: My bearing on the cooling fan in just died after about a month have to by new one.
- Other Thoughts: I'm a student living in a dorm so i have people kicking dropping books and everything else on my computer and so far this case seems to be tough as nails. would recommend to any college-bound grad.
