First Impressions: Beautiful Case that was Easy to Assemble
- Pros: I think that the largest pro is that this was my first custom built computer, and the mere fact that everything worked when I turned it on for the first time is a testament to this case's ease of use.
Aesthetics wise, the blue lighting is a nice accent to the black and the clear panel has a furturistic machine print with the name of the case along with a blue fan under speaker grills.
Build wise, it worked like a charm. Everything slipped into place, the graphics card just perfectly fit (A GTX 260 so you know this thing can take the biggest out there), and the cable management was nearly nonexistent (And that's without a modular PSU).
Overall it's an amazing case, there are some tiny gripes but nothing enough to drop a star.
- Cons: There are TONS of screws that come with the case, and are they marked or mentioned in the manual?
(As far as I can tell) No.
Also, I have yet to leave this computer on overnight or use it late, but I can easily imagine the blue lights being a bit bright.
I have a couple of loose 5.25 covers on the front that I don't want to remove, lest I open a hole into the case. Oh well.
GREAT GAMING CASE!
- Pros: It really is coo1! I upgraded from a black Thermaltake Tsunami with side panel. It was getting a bit too warm in the air of rear from PS. Great lighting!
- Cons: only that when you touch it, it smudges easily. When you try to wipe it it just scratches. Once i opened case and the side fan touched the outside, it scratched some of the paint off. Not really that much! just use a sharpie.
- Other Thoughts: Lighting is better than i expected. Just be careful not to scratch.
Decent case
- Pros: Large size able to hold those large coolers and cards. The toolless design is always nice, comes with a psu, very neat looking
- Cons: psu is not very good, the window scratches easy so be careful, bought from fry$
- Other Thoughts: the best thing to do is use the included psu with a small office type of build as thats what its best suited for, kinda ironic its bundled in a gaming case. buy the altec 500 earthwatts and youll be glad you did as it is far more reliable and has better selection of plugs
