5 out of 5 eggsReplacement works fine

Pros: Okay. The replacement from Newegg came back. It works completely. Very stable with a GeFforce2 Pro video card, and a 160GB Seagate SATA2 Hd.

Cons: Nothing to complain about

4 out of 5 eggsMostly okay

Pros: Nice price. Came free with the A64-3400 cpu bundle. Operated it on an AGP video card. Everything worked except...

Cons: Well, the SATA controller seemed to be flaky. It would sometimes pick up the 160GB SEagate SATA2 drive, sometimes not. Sent the HD back for replacement, and same result. So this one is going back for replacement. Knowing Newegg, they'll be really nice about it.

Other Thoughts: PATA controller worked just fine with PATA HDs. If it hadn't been for the SATA HD, I wouldn't have had so much trouble.

4 out of 5 eggsOkay, but had trouble with SATA

Pros: Well, it's free with the A64-3400 S754 CPU. Can't beat that. And just about all the functions worked fine. :-) I operated it without using the onboard video.

Cons: I had lots of trouble with the onboard SATA when I tried to boot with a 160GB Seagate SATA2 drive. I tried jumpering the drive to force it down to SATA1 speed but made no difference. Some times the MB would detect the HD, sometimes not. PATA drives would work just fine.

Other Thoughts: This has got to be the most fraustrating thing. I had no other SATA HD to swap out. So I ended up returning the HD for a replacement. Upon replacement, samething still happened. Oh well, could be the MB's SATA chipset, I suppose. I'm sending this thing back for a replacement. Knowing Newegg, they'd be really nice about it.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: We at Purchase this motherboard to use in our line of computers (Kersting Computers, www.kerstings.org ) and have not encounter any problem. Just straight forward, run smooth and the super I/O Chip keep cool under heavy operational stress.

Cons: Need to include 2 80 conducting Cable. but thats for the manufacture to do.

4 out of 5 eggsNice board

Pros: It's an AMD64 mobo.

Cons: No variable speed on the CPU fan, so it's kinda loud.

Other Thoughts: I put this in a case with a 250mm fan on the side, which I got from competitor (sorry, NewEgg!). With no overclocking, I get 94 deg. F temps on the CPU.

4 out of 5 eggsGood board for a great price

Pros: Low price, works properly, has on-board video, audio, and LAN included. 4 USB 2.0 ports.

Cons: Not much expansion is available, does not have dual channel support.

Other Thoughts: This is a good board for the money. I used a total of 16 of these along with Kingston DDR400 RAM, and AMD Athlon 64 2400+ processors in our company network. They have been working very reliably and fast.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Pretty good motherboard. I got this in a combo deal with The AMD 3400+ Onboard video automatically disables when using an AGP video card. (Full disable at the BIOS level. Doesn't show in the device manager) 3 PCI slots for add-in cards

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: It's a low end Giga-byte motherboard. If you are looking for a decent motherboard for a low price, this is a pretty good solution.
