Read the FINE PRINT!!!
- Pros: Quality Brand, smooth XP install, and fast even with a cheap Celeron D CPU (of course I had a fast hard drive hooked up to it)
- Cons: Memory performance was poor, it has ONE pci slot, ONE DDR2 Mem slot (and ONE DDR slot). Did I mention it has NO expansion slots except for that ONE PCI slot.
- Other Thoughts: I should have read more carefully. Just a single PCI slot (no agp, no ACR, no other slot!) and I was really disappointed when I ran the memory benchmarks with Kingston Memory!!! Of course, I haven't messed with the memory settings in BIOS, I could probably improve on that.
Beware RAM
- Pros: Motherboard is small and cheap
- Cons: Beware of this: Number of Memory Slots 1×184pin + 1×240pin
Two different types of RAM slots on this mobo. Not something I'm usually looking out for when ordering a motherboard.
- Other Thoughts: Good, cheap, and I'm going to keep it, but beware of the RAM
2nd impression a week out
- Pros: needed something to run windows since i was giving my parents the one i bought since they cant make up their minds :) so it works for whatg i need
- Cons: no lpt port, what i mentioned in my other review about the sata drive, and be sure to get a video card or a load of memory; onboard graphics at least on mine takes a whole 128mb
- Other Thoughts: good board but i don't know if i'd buy it again or not
