5 out of 5 eggsNice

Pros: Good Decent feature set, good price.

Cons: 8-pin ATX 12V pin kinda freaked me out at first, but it runs fine off the standard 4-pin

3 out of 5 eggsBeware in Vista

Pros: Good value for basic features, solid performance.

Cons: BIOS not updated for Vista, BIOS update was hard to find and does not mention that it fixes the issues.

Other Thoughts: Tried to install Vista on a system with this baord and it kept failing to install. Finally found that Foxconn America has a BIOS update. The board model reads as a V but is actually the same baord. be sure to get this before installing Vista.

4 out of 5 eggsGood board for price

Pros: shipping was fast, board has 15 rebate. good board for the cost. would buy again

Cons: PWR LED jumper pin wouldnt fit. had to cut out middle spare connector. map/guide that comes with MOBO box has wrong colors for jump pin map. not much room for my 92mm CPU fan.

Other Thoughts: took the Pentium D 2.8 800MHz chip just fine. 1GB (512x2) Kingston DDR2 533 RAM.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Supports everything I have (core 2 duo, ddr2 RAM etc.)

Cons: When I turned on the PSU, the board started making a buzzing noise. After consulting several friends and a couple of specialists I am told there was a short; had to RMA.
The biggest problem aside from the broken hardware was that I didn't even get a manual, just a guide for the board and installing the processor.

Other Thoughts: After talking to my friends and people who know a thing or two about motherboards it was strongly recommended that I look eslewhere. The specs are just blah and there are better boards for just as much, if not less.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: SATA, RAID, Graphics and wide range of RAM support.

Cons: Can't OC Pent D 820 past 3.1Ghz w/o BSOD.
Requires BIOS update on Pent D 9xx.

Other Thoughts: Have built 14 systems for a business using nothing but this board...RAID works with no problems, Pent D 820, 2 512megs of partriot DDR667...POST every time on every mobo I have! I highly reccomend this mobo!!!

3 out of 5 eggsWorks Well

Pros: Nice board.

Cons: One IDE, new style power for processor.

Other Thoughts: I used standard power for processor. Board works and processor is doing good.

4 out of 5 eggsSweet

Pros: Simple install although the manual is very lacking.

Cons: Manual - translations, as usual, are abysmal.

Other Thoughts: Someone at Foxconn should translate the translations. LOL

4 out of 5 eggsWas Close to Buying!!!! Look Out!

Pros: Sure it would be nice. almost bought it.

Cons: Look at the FSB! Support Core 2 Duo with only an 800 MHZ FSB!!!

Other Thoughts: You may want to reconsider if you are going to use a C2D CPU.

5 out of 5 eggsNice Board except for 8 pin 12V connector

Pros: Excellent budget Intel 945 board. Only 2 RAM slots, but runs pefectly - tested with 4 different types of RAM and a half dozen CPUs, and both single and dual core. Not a single hitch. I'm pretty annoyed with the new 8 pin 12V connector though.

Cons: Frankly, I've used about 10 other 945 boards of various makes and all had 4 pin connectors. What was wrong with that? They were a lot more expensive but they worked perfectly. Is there someone in a department of rendundancy trying to figure out how to run even more wires to the mobo? I'm fairly ticked off that I literally have a dozen 24 Pin power supplies hanging around but had to buy yet another adapter for this board so that the new 8 pin would work. The system would boot with a 4 pin, but there seemed to be power issues. I didn't dock the board because I figure this must be another new standard, and the manufacturer is merely conforming to it. Great - another new standard.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat budget mobo for HTPC

Pros: Good price, onboard RAID, quality construction.

Cons: limited OC capabilities, no E1394 onboard

Other Thoughts: Has second PS connector that made me a bit worried, but worked fine with ATX 2.01 PS.
