5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: For the price this motherboard can't be beat. I am running AMD Dual Core 4200 with 2 gig patriot ram, WD sata 250 gig hard drive, MSI 7900hd video card and it plays all games maxed out with no lag. I can burn a DVD while playing half life 2 with no slowdowns. Easy to configure and install. My CPU temp using Apevia X Navigator full tower 500 watt PSU is around 35 degrees C (That is awesome) Would highly recommend.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Add a firewire?

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome

Pros: Installed easy and booted up nicely. I like how the PCI and PCIe have room around eacother make for installing pci fans. Everything on the Mobo is placed just right for the space in a Mid tower case.

Cons: 0 - ZERO - 0

Other Thoughts: I would recomend this board

5 out of 5 eggsProps EVGA

Pros: Where to start. Comes with lots of accecories, roung cables are nice and really improve airflow. Sata cables are nice too. Motherboard itself is amazing. Booted first time NP. Autodetecded my ram @ CL 2.5 had to manual adjust it to 2 but that took all of ten microseconds. Post data on MB in nice. Everyone is like AHHH this hates patriot ram but i havent had a single problem. to run dual channel you have to have ram in slots 1,3 or 2,4 thats where people might have gotten confused. Fast board. Cool too stock cooling with 3 case fans my proc idles @ 31C load @ 40C.

Cons: PCI X 16 slot for single card is rught over the chipset fan and the gpu rests on it but its doesnt do it any harm. Overclocking utility in BIOS leaves something to be desired. First time i tried to OC comp would boot but there would be no image on the monitor. Had to reset CMOS and then resetall my bios settings. Kind of a pain in the A-hole even though it only took like 5 mins.

Other Thoughts: EVGA logo on boot is really annoying and people seemto complain about in in thier reviews. There is this option in BIOS that says "Disable EVGA boot screen" If you change that to disable that giess what happens. BYE BYE splash screen problem fixed. If you fooled around for like two seconds before writing your review you could have saved us from your complaining. If you planon building a hard core gamming rig like i have go with at least a mid tower case for airflow and get case fans... lost of them. Then we wont have to hear you people complain how hot your comp runs. And does it matter that is sounds like a 747 on take off just get a decent 5.1 surround systemand belive me you will never even hear it. And if it will disrupt your sleep or whatever consider um... SHUTTING IT OFF. Running 4400 X2 2 gigs patriot ram dual channel XFX 7900GTE WD 250Gig sata 3.0. I can play any game maxed @1280*1024 with 8X AA and 16XAF without the slightest hickup.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat MoBo for the price

Pros: Installed easily into my mid- tower case. All connectors easy to access. Lots of included bits and pieces mean not much else to buy.
Booted up first time with AMD X64 3800 dual core. O'clocked to 2.4G and very stable. Have 2G DDR400 dual channel with no issues at 2.5-3-3-8.

Cons: None I can think of.

Other Thoughts: Have built lots of PC's and am impressed with this board. Stable, lots of features. Buy it - you won't regret it.

4 out of 5 eggsExcellent Budget Mobo

Pros: Excellent price for the amount of features you get. Performs extremely well and is on par with much more expensive mobos.

Cons: This mobo is picky about RAM. Go to their website and find out what RAM is compatible with the board. Bug in mobo that reads CPU temps wrong, but I have not experienced it myself. Some of the DIMM slots are undervolted on some units, again have not had this problem myself. I am running the latest E6 BIOS. Mygaurd will read the mobo specs accurately, however.

Other Thoughts: The support community on their website is not as large or knowledgeable as DFI, but is growing and the people there (employees and users) are very helpful. Finally, s939 is being phased out in favor of sAM2, but with the great prices on AMD 939 CPUs, not necessarily a bad thing.

5 out of 5 eggsawesome board

Pros: I've had this board for almost a year and it has been running great ever since I bought it. It overclocks very nicely. Definatly can't beat it for the price (free with my 7800gt). I have 3 gigs of ram in it and they run fine (another reviewer said it didn't run right with over 2).

Cons: the "round" cables can get to be annoying but it's not like you have to use them

5 out of 5 eggsI Love it

Pros: Great board. Has worked great all year. My ATI runs great on it, and the 3 PCI 16x slots rock. I love the 6 USBs. A great buy.

Cons: In my computer, there are a lot of wires. Not really a big deal, doesnt affect anything.

Other Thoughts: Its a good board.

4 out of 5 eggsVery good for price

Pros: Well, it is a very nice board with very good overclocking capabilities. Fit into my case no problems, intsructions that came with it were a little confusing.

Cons: The RAM slots sit a little to close to my CDROM/Harddrive cage so that I cannot use my Corsiar LED RAM. Other than that, good mobo for the price.

5 out of 5 eggsGood To Go!

Pros: This board has become one of my most recommended boards for my customers! I have bought/installed 6 of these boards with no issues of any kind. SLI is plug and play, and the Bios is simple and straight forward. Save yourself some money and buy this board!

Cons: The "round" cables bundled with this unit arent really round! EVGA simply folds up standard IDE cables and sleeves them! Very stiff and too short for most applications. I toss them in my Dollar bargain bin and give the cutomers better cables!

Other Thoughts: Buy this board!!

4 out of 5 eggsI'm keeping an eye on this board...

Pros: Cheap, SLI, read my RAM fairly easily, good drivers, great looks, great BIOs (big plus), fairly accurate temp and fan speed readings, and a nice box.

Cons: Seems to be a few problems with the PCI slots, Chipset in a bad place, and it didn't want to boot up the first time.

Other Thoughts: I heard from a few reviews that this board caught on fire, which is probably because of them installing the board wrong, but I'm still keeping a close eye on it, seems to run nice. Unfortunately I'm just running a PCI card at the moment, so I have yet to test the PCI-E or the SLI, can't wait for my PCI-E to come in so I can really put this motherboard to the test.
