1 out of 5 eggsblew the big one

Pros: none

Cons: had various issues installing the o.s., graphics driver did not install. tried two different cards, both had the same issues.

Other Thoughts: i don't think newegg should carry this product. after doing a little extra research i found that this board was KNOWN to have problems with the os and graphics drivers

4 out of 5 eggsWorked well for 8 months

Pros: Powers what I need it to. Can handle whatever I've thrown at it. Stable so far.

Cons: I too had the mixed up sound ports.

Other Thoughts: Recommended for a cheap, media center PC.

5 out of 5 eggsVery cheap and good quality

Pros: Cheap, has pci-e slots. This is probably the cheapest full size atx motherboard. It runs fine, and has very high bus speed seeing as how its a 754 socket and still has 1000mhz.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Should of bought a socket 939 and upgraded my cpu too.

3 out of 5 eggsworks good

Pros: agp/pcie, low cost, stable board.

Cons: sound jacks installed in the wrong slots, so the color codes do not match speaker outputs.

Other Thoughts: this board has been running stable for me for 4 months now. seems like a pretty fast board. only issue is the onboard sound as the jacks dont work right and if you do figure out the sound, it sounds awful anyway. if you have your own sound card then this board is nice.

3 out of 5 eggsNo chance to test it.

Pros: Cheap, pretty good looking, lot of features. Newegg sent me a open box version of this motherboard by mistake instead of a new retail version. I returned the item and went with a Biostar alternative.

Cons: There is no heatsink on the southbridge.

1 out of 5 eggsYou are not running fast enough!

Pros: A rating of 1 should automatically remove the pros section.

Cons: Failed during windows install. Wow. Missing file error. Disc works on any other computer.

3 out of 5 eggsHit or miss

Pros: Price, Features, stable, and wide cpu/ddr support.

Cons: VERY Low quality control, VERY buggy bios, many doa units, no overlocking ability.

I can overclock just the board is to low quality.

Other Thoughts: I have other reviews on the motherboard below. This is an update with my experiances.

Over the past few months i have purchased over 30 of these boards for use in the most lowest cost computers i could build. They have supported every form of ddr i can throw at them, along with ever 754 chip i could find. That is quite nice. However the bios has so many bugs. Changing many normal options result in a fail to post. I just leave the bios at default. Over the 30 or so boards i have ordered more then half were doa or became dead after less then 30 days.

Its really a hit or miss. Good Luck!

2 out of 5 eggsStay away from TUL

Pros: If you don't need the bells and wistles it works fine, passive heatsink on chipset

Cons: Cool'n'Quiet doesn't work as stated, BIOS on web site for motherboard does not flash

Other Thoughts: Main issue is tech support. They don't respond to e-mail messages unless you threaten that you will return the product. Also asked me to contact the reseller for a status of their engineers fixing the problem. I know Newegg is good, but don't tell me that they know what work each company is doing to fix or make their products better.

3 out of 5 eggsCould be better

Pros: Nice onboard sound quality. comes with PCI-E. Stable motherboard

Cons: Audio connectors are backwards. No overclocking features. No gameport.

Other Thoughts: For the money its not too bad but the lack of any overclocking features makes it disapointing. Even with software overclocking, this motherboard will screetch to a halt. I would invest a little more for something better.
