Comments: I wasn't a big fan of routing all the wires from the outside, so I returned it and bought an HP Printer with a built-in card reader.

Comments: Nice piece of equipment for monitoring you internal temps and reading your cards. Doc needs some touch up; but the wiring is easy to figure out.

Comments: Consider the function/dollars it is cheap and work great. I just don't like the idea that you have to connect the from the out outside to bring it to the front. What happen to the internal connection? This Just reroute your connection from the back to the front that it.

1 out of 5 eggsWould not recommend.

Comments: I wouldn't recommend this item to anyone. A complete pain to install and they expect you to run cables from the unit and plug them into your usb and firewire inputs in the back of your computer, which will make a mess of cables inside your computer, great idea horrible follow through.

3 out of 5 eggsDecent But Not Great

Comments: I bought this because of the price and features. I had a little bit of trouble installing this in my Antec case that had drive rails. I had to improvise a rail for the right side of the unit. Other than that it installed easily. I am not sure what I need SATA ports on the panel for, but they are there. Finally, the only thing keeping this from getting better marks is that the temperature probes don't work. Not sure why. Since I mostly needed the card reader functionality, I am not sending the unit back.

Comments: Installed on a case without any audio jacks, front USB ports and firewire ports. Cool Blue glow from the fan readings. Card Reader works like a charm. I didn't hook up the thermal couple, and may do it eventually. The drawbacks are that the card reader uses up one USB header pin. On the ASUS P5WD2. There are a total of 4 USB header pins, but they are bunched in twos. Kind of wished they just turned the two ports on the panel into a hub to elminiate routing cables outside of the box. It would have been nicer if all connections were able to hook up to MB headers too. This will do for now.
