2 out of 5 eggsVery bad on Vista

Pros: Good card and cheap runs good in Windows XP

Cons: could get to run properly in Windows Vista. Updated all drivers for it but still gave blue screen of death. Set monitor on lowest settings to run reliable.

2 out of 5 eggsJunk

Pros: Near-silent fan on mine, almost too silent. Nice D-Sub quality for the price. Good enough until I can buy a real video card.

Cons: This thing gets very, VERY hot... plan on buying a PCI cooler or fire insurance for your house. Composite TV out is horrible grainy quality so don't plan on using this for a home theater.

Other Thoughts: In a couple weeks this will be permanent paper weight / spare. I'm very disappointed in Asus this time around. Did I get a lemon?

4 out of 5 eggsCheap & decent, but loud.

Pros: Good capability for the price.

Cons: Loud fan with no speed control.

Other Thoughts: It's good if you need something cost-effective and can put it in a closed-up quiet case. I have a free-flowing mid tower and this card is responsible for 75% of my fan noise. I would have rated a 5 if the fan wasn't so loud.

2 out of 5 eggsEh

Pros: Price I guess

Cons: Every once in a while, the screen on one of monitors will flicker for a second or so. One is 19" CRT, the other a 20" LCD and worked fine on a previous comp.

Bad card? I dunno, not too bad. Comp isn't used for gaming at all.

Other Thoughts: Comp is Intel e6600 asus pb5 deluxe mobo.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat

Pros: This card did not work with a PC-Chips Motherboard but ended up throwing it into a HP computer with a AMD X2 3800+ 1gig of DDR2 RAM. This card defiantly made this system much faster from a Intergraded x200 express graphics provided on mobo. This is great for $xx!

Cons: 64-bit and standard DDR RAM on the Video Card's board.

Other Thoughts: Just overall a great card and much worth the money for low budget gaming.

5 out of 5 eggsCheap card - works ok

Pros: Card is dirt cheap.

Purchased this for my HTPC so I could have DxVA acceleration and could take advantage of ATi's AVIVO functionality.

Fan is quiet.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: It would be cool if the card had a component output dongle instead of the cheap composite one, but that might bump the price up a little more.

4 out of 5 eggsNot bad for price

Pros: Not bad so far. Comes with overclocking tools, cranked it up and it runs America's Army fine with all graphic detail levels max'd. The ram speed seems to be the limiting factor based on my tweaking.. when you overclock the ram too much you start to see artifacts.. which I assume is the ram not keeping up.. not sure though.

Cons: My favorite OpenGL 3D American flag screen saver crashes.. not sure if it's the card though. When you overclock the screens cuts out for a sec while it updates the ram and gpu clocks, not a big deal though.
