Cons: Picture is a bit fuzzy, and not all the channels come in clearly (and a few don't at all). See other thoughts.
This requires an AUX-IN on your motherboard for sound. Not a con for those with older boards, but most new ones don't come with this port. Just something to be aware of.
Other Thoughts: The fuzzy picture is most likely due to my poor cable TV provider (I'm on a college campus). Some of the channels don't come in on my TV, either, so this isn't limited to just this tuner card. Just be aware that, if your TV signal isn' t that great, this card won't work for you all that well (nor will any in this price range, most likely).

Rating: 5/5Very pleased
Pros: Very good picture quality for analog. Also software is very stable. Have owned tv cards from ati, which had poor picture quality and horrible software.
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: Gave my 2nd card to my aunt, first one I installed in my mother's computer, which she loves. Replaced with leadtek hd cienema card. I have regretted it ever since. Analog picture very poor and the software is worse.

Rating: 5/5awesome
Pros: sharp picture good program interface easy to use with remote sweet controller
Cons: needs a quick computer in order to encode clearly without breaks in the audio. A nice c2d will easily take this challenge. audio input is a pain unless you have a 3 pin wire for the motherboard or sound card
Other Thoughts: Worth it. next time HD

Rating: 5/5does what it says
Pros: Install went ok, it's a little outdated as far as Leadtek is concerned. However, that's usually the hardware buisness, make a product and move on in a few months. But the "newest" drivers are there. I installed on vista home ed prem, it works like it says it does.
Cons: Doesn't have Digital input(no surprise there it never said it did)
Other Thoughts: Ecs 780 gm-a, amd 4800+, corsair XMS2 2GB 800, internal video If you want analog input for gaming devices this is your ticket. It should still work with the cable signal, because it's being converted on ppl effected are over the air signals

Rating: 4/5Pretty good card...
Pros: It works. Everything installed just fine, no problems of any kind. The recording option is pretty sweet, its like your own DVR on your computer :) Its just a really good card for the money.
Cons: It took a while for me to set up the sound running from my stereo but that was a user problem, not a product problem.
Other Thoughts: It comes with about 4-5 cd's to install various video/editing programs but i haven't used them yet. If anyone knows how to work it, email me or msg my on yahoo @ seether_fan1369.

Rating: 5/5Works for me!
Pros: Low Price...
Nice FM reception...
Reception for Cable TV is Good, (antenna Reception works ok too)....
Includes Remote...
Nice user interface...
Easy setup...
Includes Corel editing software...
Fast at processing commands (channels, Input modes, etc.)....
Overall, its a Good TV video capture card.
Cons: I had some weird bugs happening on first setup...
1. MY 8800 video driver failed to boot after installing drivers for this TV card (8800 driver worked again after restarting system ).
2. Any button on the remote would exit the program (but that went away after restarting system TWICE)...
3. My system automatically went into standby for some reason ( I thought it crashed my PC, but it didn't).
Video tuner (TV) quality is not the best but it does work for basic needs....
Other Thoughts: It seemed to have some weird issues at first, but after some patience and configuration of settings I got it working just fine. :)
I also downloaded the driver that was on leadteks website.
IMO, for the price it's worth it.
Newegg service is one of the best too!
(I'll update review if the card experiences any more issues...)

Rating: 5/5Served Its Purpose
Pros: Good capture card for what I needed-moving home videos from VHS to DVD. Installed hardware, used drivers from Leadtek's website, then used Windows Movie Maker to assemble and burn to DVDs. I first tried a composite connection but had better video quality when using S-video.
Cons: I did not deduct an egg but I didn't find the bundled software very good and used WMM instead. others may disagree but I didn't care for it.
Other Thoughts: Anyone who considers themselves competent enough to install PCI or PCI express cards should not have any trouble with the audio issues in some of the previous posts. I installed this card in two different machines; in one the audio was ran into an Xfi audio card and the second was plugged directly into Mobo, no issues in either one with getting the audio to work. Overall I would purchase this product again without hesitation but would not use bundled software. =)

Rating: 5/5Good for TV on Digital signal
Pros: Quite good TV display. I've had half a dozen TV tuner cards over the years, and this one has the best TV picture. If I had a need for another TV tuner card, I wouldn't hesitate to get this one again... Very good for the price... running on WinXP Pro.
Cons: If you have an analog input, the TV picture isn't as sharp.... but that's a weakness of the signal, not the card. And of course you can't display the TV picture as "full monitor", sit a normal computing distance away and expect the picture it to not be grainy.... it's still only 480 lines of resolution from the TV signal, you know.
Other Thoughts: Though it's an analog card.. and though some Newegg posters claim, "won't work after the system goes all digital"... Don't worry about that. It's NOT true. I am using this card with Dish TV SD digital satellite signal now. Nothing will change for this card in February. I don't use the PVR nor remote. I've communicated suggestions to Leadtech support, and they have updated the driver with one of them so far... I've got a couple of other good ones I send them from time to time in the hope they will implement those also... like toggling ON/OFF the Control Panel.. and installing a mute button and volume slider in the frame.... things like that. Installation is very easy. Forget about using the included disk. Just go to Leadtek's website and download/install the card driver and the PVR2 display software.

Rating: 4/5good card for the price
Pros: Of course Newegg has ships everything out really fast. The card was easy to install and i really didn't have problems loading the drivers on because i read other peoples reviews. Everything is working fine so far, I hooked my direct tv up to the card.
Cons: The image is a little fuzzy and the coaxial input randomly has lines going through it. S-video works fine. The audio was a pain to set up, but some how i rigged it so it would work.
