4 out of 5 eggsGet what you pay for

Pros: You get what you pay for and it delivers enough to run Aero for Vista Business. However, I wouldn't use it in systems for gaming or for those with less than 1 gig of RAM.

Cons: The chipset itself is designed to eat your system's main RAM so make sure you have at least 1 gig of RAM if you're going to use this card.

1 out of 5 eggsNo Dual monitor for analog

Pros: Picture is pretty good on my analog Viewsonic VA902B. I like that it has no fans to make noise. It gets warm but doesn't seem to be a problem.

Cons: Running Windows XP, I had an ATI X300 in the first PCI express video slot with two monitors plugged into that one. I had the MSI NX6200 installed in the second PCI express video slot with one monitor coming out of the analog output. With this setup, I was running tri monitor. I switched to Windows Vista 64bit Business edition and found out you must run the same driver for both cards so I removed the MSI card and bought another ATI X300 for that system and all worked fine.

When I installed the MSI NX6200 into another XP system and attempted to configure it for dual monitor, I discovered a standard analog to DVI adapter does not work for the second output to my Viewsonic 902b analog monitor.

4 out of 5 eggsPlays most games and runs Vista

Pros: Runs Vista with Aero on. Plays A&A at full gfx. Plays NFS Carbon with no shadows and settings on mid. Over all a good stand in card till I get my SLI 8600 Ultras.

Cons: The heat sink on my card is different from the one in the picture. I wish it had a fan, gets a bit hot.

Other Thoughts: Works, Runs Vista and most games. Over all good.

3 out of 5 eggsmsi card

Pros: worked for about 3 months playing a few online games per week.

Cons: ruined something in windows xp x64 and made me reload the system. the card will NOT even turn on now. its fried. wasnt over clocked or over stressed. it was just running and then died on me. looking for another card to replace this one. otherwise running off some cheap 6 year old card i had layin around the shop.

Other Thoughts: if you like cheap there ya go. if you want performance ask someone to point you in the right direction.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Price, not what I needed

Pros: For xx$, you can't find a better budget card. Will run many games at low setting, but is meant for a media pc. Not for hardcore gamers. As always, MSI includes excellent forceware, good OC'ing features, easy to configure.

Cons: Specifications are misleading. Not MSI's fault but it lead to me returning the card.

Other Thoughts: I wish I had read George's review. I generally don't count on other's opinions, I would rather try it for myself. However, Newegg left out an important piece of info. The DVI interface is DVI-D, not DVI-I. This means that a DVI to D-SUB adapter will not work. I bought this card strictly to run two flat panel CRT monitors (and occasionally to watch movies on my television through s-video). I was thoroughly dissapointed to find that the box says DVI-D clearly on the front, yet the specs failed to mention that. Without a DVI-D monitor or a rediculously expensive adapter, (S-video to D-SUB and DVI-D to D-SUB are both around 100$) I was unable to use this card for it's primary function, which was dual screens.

4 out of 5 eggsFine by me...

Pros: Works like a charm... I have had no problem with the S-Video out to my television. In addition to that, it fixed a problem of my PVR locking up when watching recorded shows. I got what I paid for.

Cons: I do not play any high end games so I cannot give an opinion on whether or not this is a good card for gaming.

4 out of 5 eggsPretty Good

Pros: Cheap. No fan=no noise.

Cons: The DVI is DVI-D, which means that you can't use an analog monitor on the DVI interface.

Other Thoughts: This thing is listed everywhere as having DVI-I, which is not true.

3 out of 5 eggsabout average.

Pros: Okay, This card is okay.
low Detail
Day of defeat 800x600~50 FPS
if in 1024x768~20 FPS
Half-life2, deathmatch is a little higher FPS.
Card is pretty cheap. Takes about 3 minutes to render with Bryce 5.

Cons: Oblivion does run (med settings), but not great.
Fable is a little slow, but only if detail is cranked.
This card Gets Pretty hot.
The heatsink design does not allow you to put a fan on. You have to replace it.
Putting any game in 1024 makes it a little choppy. 800x600 is alot better. *budget card

Other Thoughts: AMD Athlon 64-bit 3200+ 2000 overclocked to 2.2 GHz.
1 GB DDR400 (PC-3200)
MoBo=K8Npro-SLI
