5 out of 5 eggsLasted long enough

Pros: For a basic no frills card it did the job in an older build for over 4yrs before finally crapping out. I really can't complain for what I paid back then. Not that this review matters now as it seems it is a discontinued card ;)

Cons: None!

5 out of 5 eggsStill Running

Pros: Simple install (as RAM should be!); After over 4yrs of service in my older somputer they're still handling perfectly fine. I'd definitely recommend this!!

Cons: None!

4 out of 5 eggsDecent Graphics Card

Pros: It runs most of the older games I play at full settings(WC3, D2, WoW).

Cons: Will not run the more graphic intensive games well (AoC, Crysis, etc).

Other Thoughts: If you play mostly older games like I do, this card does more than enough.

4 out of 5 eggsworks for me

Pros: cheap. maxes out super mario world on zsnes. old school games have been my thing lately

Cons: 64-bit memory interface

Other Thoughts: e4300 @ 2.4ghz, 2gb, xp pro, this card. i play all retro games on emulators on this pc. from the psx - n64 generation and down. no problems with this card. oc'd it to max out half life 2. not sayin much, but it gets the job done for me. however when it comes to murkin a foo in cod4, go with the zotac oc 8800gt. it poops on the competion in price:performance

4 out of 5 eggsGood card.

Pros: 512 MB DDR and PCI-e interface make for a good foundation to do almost any type of visual rendering.
Good 3D support . GWars @ 1680x1050 max detail (-minus anti-aliasing) looks great.
Great SDL support
Worked out of the box on Mandriva 2008 using native drivers.

Cons: Anti-aliasing seems to make the thing ssslllooowwww wayyy down
nVidia's binary drivers caused problems with GL.

Other Thoughts: Installed on PC Chips A13G+, Athlon 64 3800, 1 GB Super Talent DDR2.
Put it in, installed necessary drivers/kernel modules, and I was off tot he races.
Plays Chromium at max res NPs.
Plays BZflag at close to max res.
Plays GW (Windows) at good res if you disable anti-aliasing.
Plays video (DVD,mpg, avi, etc) through VLC with NPs. (linux and Windows)

All-in-all. Worth the price especially if you don't have that extra PCI-e slot for SLI.

NPs=No probs

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Works well with Pentium D 925,2Gb PC2-3200,Gigabyte GA-81945GZME-RH motherboard. Plays all off my old games at full throttle, WOW,CS,Half Life 2.

Cons: Won't run high intensity graphics games fast like Crysis. Brought my overall Vista score from 3.0 to 3.2 and thats only an upgrade from an onboard Intel 950 video with 128Mb.

Other Thoughts: Good video card for the money, but don't buy just for a cheep upgrade if you can afford a card that can handle more intense graphics.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: It worked fine for awhile, contrary to what that person said it handled games just fine.

Cons: Runs way too hot at all times. Crapped out on me bout 20 minutes ago.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great video card for the money. This is not a gamers card though (as if anyone would mistake it for one anyway). It handles the few games that I throw at it without issue (all games from the late 90's up to mid 00's).

I should have got something more expensive, but for the minimal amount of gaming I do this thing works fine.

Works good enough in Linux (KUbuntu)

Cons: Not a con on the video card, more a con for Nvidia.
The (K)Ubuntu Nvidia drivers aren't the best in the world. The proprietary Nvidia drivers are better, but still are not great and sometimes cause system problems.

Other Thoughts: I use this card in a dual boot system -- Windows XP Pro (10% of the time) and KUbuntu (90% of the time).
It is more than adequate for the games I play and the type of work I do (programming).

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Very easy install.
had it working less than 15min out of the box.
Just solid working graphic card. cheap and installed in my Shuttle without a glitch.
i don't play high end games but I do some Photoshop work and it is working great.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Cheap. Low profile. no fan. quite. Not a high end graphic card. What you expect for a 50 bucks?
