1 out of 5 eggsThe Largest Newegg FAIL I Ever Had

Pros: -Sadly, DOA;so none.

Cons: -DOA and RMA FAIL!

Other Thoughts: I liked EVGA but my card was fail out of the box. Newegg and EVGA would not properly RMA the card and I ended up taking the hit. Apparently the unit was missing a sticker. I was really upset but time heals all wounds I guess. Really would like that 300 I payed though. The ownership of over a year was not by choice.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello,

Please contact me directly, matth@evga.com so I can look into this for you.

Regards,
Matthew Hurwitz

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect

Pros: Awesome. Runs cool. Can run up to 115 degrees celcius (I have never gotten it even close to that). Works well with a 3800+ CPU, 2 gigs Corsair XMS RAM, and an ECS KN1 SLI Extreme Mobo. Still runs all the latest games at maximum quality with more than 50 FPS.

Cons: None.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Card

Pros: Excellent card, definitely worth the money.

Cons: It is big, but I had no problems installing it.

Other Thoughts: It can run any game with most (if not all) settings maxed. (BF2, BF2142, FEAR, Quake 4, BFME2)

I have had this card for 9-10 months and have had NO problems whatsoever with this card.

5 out of 5 eggsConsidering SLI?

Pros: Rock solid high performance, factory overclocked. All but some of the most recent (post 3/06) game titles perform beautifully at max settings.

Cons: At the time of this writing, paying this much for this card is (almost) a rip-off, even for a SLI setup, otherwise absolutely other no cons. See below for more on this.

Other Thoughts: If you're desparate for that SLI setup, consider that for the cost of this card plus maybe a few more dollars you could get a single replacement card that will perform as well as the SLI setup, plus you will avoid all that extra heat and power consumption. And then you could sell your old card for a fair price to help cover the upgrade. Give this some thought.

5 out of 5 eggsSuperior in performance and price

Pros: Extremely good card, very stable and has all the new features one needs in next generation games. Very powerful, very satisfied, running Battlefield 2 in full everything, FEAR nearly maximum settings, Half Life 2 everything, Call of duty 2 everything, Oblivion almost everything, and getting an average of 72 fps in all these games and Also this baby gets a 7590 on 3D mark 05 WOW! pretty nice, also I am running a pretty high end system
But…

One should really go for the extra leap and go with the 7900 series (which are cheaper for some reason) if you want to turn it all up in every game available.

But again, for the price this beast kicks Real A*s
EVGA Rocks,oh and NewEgg is awesome...

Cons: Nothing at all

Other Thoughts: really should get the 7900series, it will make a big difference.

looking forword to getting another one

5 out of 5 eggsI love it

Pros: all-around incredible

Cons: loud fan, big, and there are cheaper cards out there

Other Thoughts: There have been some times that the framerate slows down to 5-10 fps. Usually this happens when there's more than one model in view, or anything that moves. I can't think of any problems with the hardware, so it's probably the software. You shouldn't worry, it's probably just me.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Very nice, it runs cool and quiet. My 3Dmark05 score was 7700 with a 2.4GHz AMD. It overclocked nicely to 500/1.2 but it started to get hot (67C) so i backed down to 480/1.17 and it never goes above 62C now

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I'm using the step-up program to get a 7900GT for $5!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card, great companies

Pros: Very fast, normal install (no surprises). eVGA trade up program is great (90 day).

Cons: High power video card, you may need a new power supply to support it (PCIE power highly recommended).

Other Thoughts: Just take care that your system can handle it. Do your homework - it will pay off.
