5 out of 5 eggsVery nice card

Pros: Very nice card runs everything fast can max out anything except crysis. I play AGe of Empires, Battlefield, Crysis, and i'v tested some other games and am surrpised how high I can play and how smooth it is.

Cons: NONE HERE!

Other Thoughts: I Just built my new pc (8800 gt 512, 4 gigs of ram, 2.66 ghz itnel core duo, vista) and my old pc was a 6600 agp, 1 gig of ram, 2.2 processor pentiem. I can't believe how much better this is. I played Age of empires 3 for the first time on thsi. And couldnt' believe how smooth it went. I RECOMMEND BUYING THIS CARD ITS A GOOD DEAL!

5 out of 5 eggsSome ideas

Pros: Let's see, not noisy, very stable, powerful card, no high temps like in my old x1800xt card, can play 99% of games at high specs without lags. ( at least at WinXP ). Very slim, so all PCI slots are open for spare cards. Low power consumption ( about which i don't really care ). Crysis game is a plus. Step up program is nice to have, life time warranty is another plus, evga also allows overclocks and fan swapping without warranty void. However, no need to overclock to play games IT"S ALREADY support most games on max specs. Manufactures overcloak is a plus.

Cons: Longer than my ATI x1800xt about 1 inch, but not making a big difference for my Antec900. Going to be obsolete in about 6 month again, like every other card that just came out, or even faster. Ntune software for overcloaking is absolute garbage, use third party software to overcloak.

Other Thoughts: Overall card is very good. Evga is the best manufacture considering it's polices. Don't forget to register the card in order to get life time warranty and activate the step up program you have 30 days from the date of invoice. Guys and Gals don't follow the trend of buying two high end cards, because one of it can do the trick for 99% of us out there, do the step up program, then use new card for 6 month and only then buy second card to keep up.
Where I am coming from : I am Technician at Computer Store, build game systems every other week, also fix home computers. I pretty much tried all top of the line video cards... not a big difference between Sli and single GTX versus single 8800GT.

PS Sry for mistakes in review just studying English.

5 out of 5 eggsBest bang for the buck and then some

Pros: Best price/performance ratio on the market.

This thing can even handle the almighty Crysis.

Currently, im running Crysis at:
1600x1200
HIGH settings (except shadows/post proc)
Sunshafts enabled
16xAF
EdgeAA set to 2X

And I am average 30+ FPS, phenomenal performance if you ask me.

It also handles every other game on the market very remarkably at at 1600x1200 with all settings usually on HIGH/maxed out.

Heck, this thing competes with a $500 GTX in most cases, neck and neck.

Cons: No longer a con, since EVGA released a new firmware that takes care of it, but there was a problem with the fan not speeding up accordingly.

Other Thoughts: Best card for the money on the market, and even allows you to run Crysis smoothly.

4 out of 5 eggsMine wouldn't overclock pass 700

Pros: As fast as a GTX at 700/950

Cons: Heat, but that's why you spent $20 to get S1 passive cooler.

Mine doesn't overclock that well, it stuck at 700.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great card that runs rings around everything except for the GTX and Ultra and it hangs right with them for half the codt.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: I ungraded from a 8800GTS 320mb card to this and it sure helps a bunch with Crysis. Able to turn the settings up much higher than with my old card.

5 out of 5 eggsGREAT CARD!!!

Pros: this card out of the box ran like a charm. Installed it and ran Commander Keen at max settings with zero lag. Also runs Starcraft with good framerate and doesnt lag when there are alot of zerglings. Go newegg!!

Cons: tried running number munchers but I only got 10fps. whats the deal?

Other Thoughts: good card, cheap, and can run just about any 2D game i throw at it.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great card!!! Especially with this game included. Friend got one and put on a duo orb cooler and temps range around 30's on idle.

Cons: Since my friend got one I decided to also, and I chose EVGA for the upgrade program. But when it arrived it was DOA and I was Very disappointed.

Other Thoughts: Ended up ordering the MSI and Newegg took care of me the right way. Newegg rocks as always.

5 out of 5 eggsOOOO AHHHHH!!

Pros: Great card, slightly longer than I expected, but fits. Runs AOEIII perfect with everything on highest. Comes with quake wars, destroys that too. With fan at stock 29% runs about 50C idle, 70C load, comes down with fan tweak. I'll be getting another one soon for sli.

Cons: Maybe not a con, i can OC the card with ntune (generally 705ish core and 2020ish mem) but it doesn't stay that way, i have to re-do it every time i come in windows and can't find it in the bios. Saves power i guess.

Other Thoughts: p6n diamond 680i, e6750 @ 3.256, zalman 9700led, 8800gt, thermaltake 700W mod, 4x1gig G skill Micron D9 ddr2 800, soundblaster x-fi extreme gamer, samsung 20x sata dvd, 150gig 10K rpm raptor, 160gig caviar, antec 900

5 out of 5 eggsSolid performance, worthy investment.

Pros: I enjoy games and this video card lets me enjoy those games without any performance issues. I've found many titles to perform flawlessly with High/Extreme settings to include x8-x16 AS with AA ranging from x4-x16 depending on the game at 1680x1050@32bit. Cyrsis, Graw2, R6 Vegas, IL2 1946, Warhammer MoC, HL2-Orange, & Arma. Don't expect this card to do wonders if your system is bottleneck via another component. I see no need to overclock this card at present.

Cons: The price point was a slightly more then budgeted, which nearly resulted in an alternative product being purchased from another graphic chipset producer.

Other Thoughts: The 8800gt is in good position for Sli upgrade path as newer video card drive down the price or should the need arrive for more GPU power due to a much larger display device. Good long term investment, with a lifetime warranty from distributor. Newegg performed admirable having this cards in stock when first release & in high demand.
