4 out of 5 eggsNo reason to buy this card anymore

Pros: Its a very good DX9 card.

Cons: The 8800GTS is a much stronger card and costs onehundred dollars less!! The 8800GTS 320Mb is out now at about twoHundred Dollars less. There is no reason to buy this card.

Other Thoughts: I cant wait for the prices to drop into a proper range on these high end DX9 cards. Looking at a price/performance ratio this card is only worth about $twohundred and fifty dallars. When new egg figures this out and set prices acordingly Ill be upgrading my whole system!!!

5 out of 5 eggsXcellent

Pros: I've owned this card for almost 9 months now. Never has overheated and I play a lot of newer games. I can actually say that it's not as loud as you've heard. I payed 510 when I purchased it, but I am happy I decided to spend 150 more and just be at the top of the benchmarks.

Cons: Price...

Other Thoughts: Planning to put them in crossfire mode.

5 out of 5 eggsExceelent card

Pros: Amazing performance. Save money and buy refurbished. My power supply all ready had the 6 pin connector, but if you donpt have one they are only $3 bucks. All the manuals and drivers are on line so no problem there.

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: I have bought refurbished products before and the quality is usually excellent because the factery that made them does the refurbishing.

5 out of 5 eggsUnbelievable!

Pros: Wow! This is the first time I have performed a computer upgrade and decided to spend the extra $$ to get cutting edge equipment. I can finally play the most current games at ulta-high quality. I am just blow away at how good Oblivion and Fear look. I finished FEAR about 3 weeks ago playing on an ATI 9800Pro and had to use medium setting to make the frame rate playable. After installing the X1900XTX and turing all the graphics setting to maximum, it's like a totally different game. Absolutely amazing. And Oblivion...best looking game I've ever seen. Every option turned to maximum, and frame rates never dips below 25, and averages around 40, even in the outdoor settings. I love this card! Catalyst drivers work fine, install was easy.

Cons: I can't seem to get my monitor's refresh rates above 60mhz even though at 1280x1024 it supports 85mhz. Catalyst drivers don't seem to make a difference, and I've had this problem with other ATI cards. However, do a GOOGLE search for "refreshlock". This program will force your refreshrate to what it should be. Once installed, refresh rates work fine. I assume this is a ATI problem, but it could be my monitor (Viewsonice G90fb 19"). Either way, with refreshlock, problem solved.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing

Pros: This card is amazing. I upgraded from an x800 and can really see a huge difference! On BF2, I can turn all the settings up to Ultra High with no lag or any problems. If you have the money, order it.

Cons: Can be loud at times, and it's expensive.

The manual is very poor quality, there is no unique manual, they are all generalized so they can be distributed with all kinds of vid cards.

Other Thoughts: A very good buy....Powercolor has never let me down yet.

5 out of 5 eggsFast

Pros: Fast, it really is a true ATI card, sticker and all. The only thing powercolor did is put their sticker over the ati serial number and gave it a powercolor serial number, even has the same bios/firmware as the one from ati. It got 11,600 on an amd 4400 with 2 gig of corsair xms. Works beautiful with the new ATI 3200 MB.

Cons: The card dosent have the 6 pin adaptor.

Other Thoughts: I am very impressed by this card, but we deal with these large ones all the time. This is the first that didnt have the adaptor with it.

5 out of 5 eggsOne Nice Card

Pros: Very powerful card. With this one card and an fx60 I get over 12,000 3dmark05. This card easily overclocked to 690/1600 and the newest catalyst drivers with the built in overclocking are very nice. I think ATI is coming back with a great product!

Cons: Nothing really, the fan is a little loud, but only during gaming or other high 3d demanding tasks.

Other Thoughts: Now I just need the crossfire edition card! 20,000 3dmarks here I come!

5 out of 5 eggsFast card, but loud and hot.

Pros: Very fast performance and excellent image quality, overclocks nicely.

Cons: Runs hot as heck with the stock cooler. And the stock cooler is very loud.

Other Thoughts: Newegg is always #1 by my book, shipped fast.

5 out of 5 eggsAwsome performance.

Pros: Extreamly Fast. Overclocks well running at 690 core and 800 memory.

Cons: 2D-3D clock settings. this card is under clocked during normal use and when a full screen 3D game is played it goes to the advertised clock settings.

Other Thoughts: 3DMARK05-9523, 3DMARK06-5843
Mobo- Intel 955XBK
CPU- Pentium D 940 oc'd to 3.55
Mem- OCZ PC5400 @ 773mhz
4x raptors raid 0
PSU Coolmax 600w
Water cooled, average temp 37c during gaming. I'm shure with a little tweaking this card could break 10K in 3DMARK05. These test were done with standard settings. set to application preferance.

4 out of 5 eggsGood card...but.....

Pros: Honestly, I'm sure its a great card, but....

Cons: i haven't gotten to use it. You need a power supply that has a 6-pin VGA plug on it or buy an addapter.

Other Thoughts: Waiting on my addapter cause it says nowhere that you need this kind of a plug to make it work. Got the whole thing together and got a blinking red msg on the monitor that said to plug in the power to the video card.
