5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Card

Pros: I went from an x800 GTO (which ran me $xxx at the time) to this card and the difference is incredible. Every game i own runs almost perfectly, and i have no doubt that the next generation of video games (I.E. Crysis, Spore, UT 2k7) will also run flawlessly.

Oblivion runs great at 1620 x 1240 wide at maxed settings, and my entire system in general is just faster. I also bought this card when there was a $xxx dollar rebate, but it is still worth the money.

Cons: None really, size isn't an issue if you have a standard ATX or tower, crossfire would be a bit of a squeeze but definately possible.

Other Thoughts: Make sure you have a power supply with a 6-pin rail connector, I had to pick up a new PS when i discovered that there was only a 4 pin rail on the current one and no adapter.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent card BUT...

Pros: Runs counter-strike source at 100 solid* fps.

*with an opteron 165 CPU and 1gb of g.skill pc-4400.

Cons: Broke after only 6 months of use.

Other Thoughts: I love this card very much. It completes my gaming rig, will run any game at it's max performance without fps dropping at all.

5 out of 5 eggsbuy this card

Pros: Worth every hard earned dollar. This card is amazing...it will run any game out there without a problem. I've was playing WoW and Doom 3 with the graphics all the way down (old card) but with this card i can turn the settings up all the way and see the games the way they were meant to be seen.

Cons: fan is a bit loud but once u turn your speakers on it will drown them out. the card is also...HUGE. i would recommend having a full tower because it might be a tight fit into a mid. Oh and i was a bit annoyed becasue the card does NOT ship with a power cable (PCI-E) so buy one when u order it.

Other Thoughts: best thing that i bought for my computer...i really love the fact that i can play any game smoothly with the settings maxed out.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Works as advertised

Cons: Board is bent from the pressure of the screws to hold down the heatsink--never seen this before.

Other Thoughts: This is my first Powercolor product, so I don't know if this is normal. Will RMA just because the bend makes me nervous--pcb should not bend!

5 out of 5 eggsClearly......

Pros: ......the best 3D gaming solution available to the consumer. I was hesitant about going OEM instead of retail, but let me tell you, Im glad I did! Less garbage to throw away. No coftware or CD's I'll never use. Still get all the cables and manual. And best of all, its CHEAPER than the retail!

The performance of this card is truly amazing. sm 3 shaders render sunlight and shadows that look so real, they must be seen to be believed. Yes, the card does underclock for 2D apps, but it screams with speed when 3D apps are detected.

I went from an Visiontek X850XT and the performance gains, I mean actaul game performance gains are phenomenal.

The cooling fan/HS assembly is not nearly as loud as alot of people have said. My old 850 was louder than this card. Much louder. That may also have to do with being in a different case though.

Cons: Shipping was as good as could be expected from UPS, meaning only slightly average. I live in Louisville Ky. UPS got it to Louisville a full day and a half early, then felt the need to load it back up on to a truck and send it on a sightseeing trip to Lexington and BACK to Louisville. I could have had this card a day early if UPS had a Logistics Manager that had an IQ higher than 3.

The Board is huge. Beastly huge. I bought a new case with this board just to make sure I had room in it.

Other Thoughts: I bought this card to hold me over till the second gen of DX10 cards arrive on the scene. Im not the least bit dissapointed. Fantastic card, Great service from New Egg, and illogical shipping practices from UPS are what you can expect with this card.

I just hope it can run Crysis in DX9 modewhen released ;)

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent price/performance ratio

Pros: When most people look for good price/performance for gfx they usually look at lower performance than this card, but looking at all the stats, this card is definitely worth the extra benjamin. simply put this card is a beast: I run Oblivion maxed out at 1600x1200 with great results. Since I wasnt concerned about SLI/crossfire after getting this card, I saved more money by getting a cheaper mobo (the ASUS A8N5X). The performance is also nearly as good as the much more expensive XTX.

Cons: The crossfire upgrade path isnt as attactive as SLI. If you're really looking to add another gpu down the line you might want to consider a 7900 instead. The nvidia cards also use less power.

Other Thoughts: Save a decent chunk of change and get the OEM over the retail version. The extra $$ for the XTX is not worth it, stick with this instead.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Dectently Priced, Overclocked Great, Gave me good scores in 3dmark05, I flashed mine to an x1900xtx and overclocked it to 650/850 on the stock cooler and it runs around 50 degees celcius.

Cons: Stock Fan is kinda loud.

Other Thoughts: Great buy

5 out of 5 eggsThis one was a dud, but the replacement is rock solid!

Pros: Everything! Get 2 and Crossfire!

Cons: The fan cycles from low to high like crazy when playing "Oblivion"

Other Thoughts: I chose this over the 7900 because I've had the 6800U and I figured I would like to have better IQ this time around instead of ok IQ and good framerate, Now I have Excelent IQ and Awesome framerate! I should be recieving my new Zalman VF900 in a few days to replace the tornado maker on my X1900XT. I did however Lap/Brasso and AS-5 the stock to lower the load from 90C+ to 80C and now with the Zalman it may be lower AND quitier! Oh I don't OC either. Oh and this is to NEWEGG I tried to Put down the name Arctic Silver 5 by shortining it to A.S.5 but your system thought I was typing a "bad" word, you might want to lax your post police.
