5 out of 5 eggsDon't forget to use "advanced 3D settings"

Pros: This is a great low profile card that handles older games such as UT99 just fine.

Make sure you go to your Nvidia control panel and set "Use the advanced 3D image settings" or else its going to play really bad in games. That's all you need to do. There's no custom game settings that will play it better than just that!

Cons: installed this on my older Asus motherboard. (P4P800) I could never get the newest drivers to work for my games.

nvidia's latest drivers don't seem to work for UT99 and BFG's site is gone for good. USE DRIVERS ONLY FROM INCLUDED CD.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Inexpensive AGP Video Card

Pros: Inexpensive, very well packaged, dropped right in place, has cooling fan that is quite.

Cons: Not free.

Other Thoughts: I got this one to replace a old nvidia Geforce MX 440 with only 64mb memory in a IBM M50 8187. I mainly bought this one for more memory and dvi port for my lcd monitor. The card dropped right in place of the old one. Took me longer to unpack it then to install it. One note on this card, the card I recieved is of the low profile type mounted on a full size pci bracket, not like the one in the pic. Probably just a newer version. Other than that it has everything the one in the picture has. I used the supplied drivers and had no issues. I will probably buy another later for my other machine, a IBM M50 8189.

5 out of 5 eggsNow an entry level card

Pros: In my case, AGP and widely supported Nvidia chipset - I bought it for Windows 7 on an older Athalon/AGP board. DVI, S-Video, and VGA all being there is a bonus. It includes a DVI to VGA adapter in the box for running dual monitors, too.

Cons: Not running any new games on this thing.

Other Thoughts: In my case, I bought it to breathe some life into old hardware to have an extra computer in the house for internet and word processing. So basically, it won on price and compatibility, not performance. Realistically, this is an entry level card now, if not legacy...I bought it with a specific set of expectations and it fulfilled it.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat AGP card!

Pros: This displays everything very well, gives you the option between VGA and DVI, and is very quiet.

Cons: The fan could die. I only point this out because the card can easily be passively cooled. It's simply cheaper to use a smaller heatsink. I think the type of consumer that would most often buy this card is turned off by the idea of replacing the fan. In 10 years, a few of these may be thrown away due to noisy fans or stopped-up fans.

Other Thoughts: I bought this because at the time, it was the cheapest AGP card I could get. I would have bought almost anything, but I'm glad that it was a 6200 for the advanced features over the FX 5200 and the Radeon 7000. If you wanted to play games on a video card that costs as much as an expensive lunch, this is the better choice over the other two.

5 out of 5 eggsRodney G.

Pros: Very easy to install. Had no problems at all. Fan is super quiet. Though it was not meant to be a serious gaming card, I can run NFS Carbon & Prostreet with no problem.

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: If you have never ordered from Newegg, do yourself a favor and try them out. I found this video card from another website and ordered it there because Newegg did not have it in stock the other place sid that they did. After ordering it, I was told a WEEK later that it was on backorder. I then looked back at Newegg, found it to be back in stock, and ordered it then. My new video card was on my doorstep three days later.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat video card

Pros: Needed a video card for an aging AGP pc w onboard graphics. I was very pleased with the price and quality.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I'm a mild gamer and only the most current games are slow. If you set the display quality off of high for these games, you will still be able to play these games well.

5 out of 5 eggsNice Win7 Upgrade for Old Dell

Pros: Easy installation. No driver issues with Windows 7. Quiet fan.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Had a free upgrade to Windows 7, so I installed it on an old Dell Dimension 4600. It worked, but didn't have Aero support with the integrated Intel video.

Dropped this card into the empty AGP 4x slot and booted up. The Dell automatically switched to use the add-in card instead of integrated video, and Windows 7 installed the drivers itself. Couldn't have been easier. Windows Experience rating went from 1.0 to 3.3, and now have Aero. Not bad for a 6-yr old computer!
