5 out of 5 eggsPure Power

Pros: Very quick and powerful. It blows through games spitting out a high FPS, 60+ in all the FPS games I play. I run BF2 @ 1280x9xx (max it lets me with my LCD) with almost every setting maxed out.

Cons: Was ~$540 when I got it at launch... (but it was worth it)

Other Thoughts: Im planning to get another in a few months to go SLI. :)

5 out of 5 eggsAWSOME CARD

Pros: Very Nice card, can run most games at high at 1600x1200

Cons: might need SLI to crank up AA and AS...especially with the newer games

Other Thoughts: plz note that this card doesn't have just a plain metal HS, it has an XFX pannel on it, so keep that in mind ppl who want good looks

5 out of 5 eggsGREAT CARD

Pros: I had to get a second one of these for SLI. Seved a few bucks over the first one. Which I bought a few months ago, and have had no problems with. Great card. I can't wait to hook it up with my other. I hope that my 4000+ won't be too bad:)

Cons: This card rules. Cons? ... ... ... KAAAAAHNNNNNNNNN! ! ! ! ! !

Other Thoughts: I am only leaving this review to praise FedEx and bash UPS. It was worth the extra money to go with FedEx. I ordered it on Friday. My delivery date was for Wednesday. I got a knock on my door on Monday. UPS wouldn't have even tried to deliver it until Wed. Thank you FedEx.

5 out of 5 eggsLag? What lag?

Pros: Do you play games? Use photoshop? Like your windows moving around smoothly?

I have not found a single thing that this card can't handle, and this particular release by XFX has the best performance for the price. You can play any game at either it or your monitor's max resolution, on full detail, and usually get a FPS higher than your monitor's refresh rate. Incredible. I can't believe the 7900 is coming out already, there isn't even a game that this card can't handle yet.

Cons: Cons? Cons!? It's beautiful. It does a good job of cooling itself. It has dual DVI and S-video output. This product does not have cons.

Other Thoughts: If you really want to have fun, get two and install your own aftermarket cooling - your case exhaust drops like five degrees :)

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Card

Pros: Excellent card! FEAR, BF2, HL2, FarCry, Morrowind at 1280X1024 with everything on high and it runs smooth as hell.

Cons: Big card

5 out of 5 eggsAWESOME

Pros: Excellent performance. I got two of them running SLI and gaming is amazing.

Cons: running hot. not hot for the videocard, but raises my case temperature considerable. perhaps thats because i got 2.

Other Thoughts: thinking about getting aftermarket coolers for them.

4 out of 5 eggsgraphics good

Pros: The card is great. Make sure you apply the aux power to it. You can have all the juice in your power supply you want, but if the power supply is not plugged into the card , it will automatically lower the cards clocking speed down, but applying the power to the card, it will boost up the speed.

Cons: I guess because you have to have power running through the aux power supply that is located in the back of the card, but other than that the card is great.

1 out of 5 eggsAs close to DOA as you can get.

Pros: The machine runs with the card.

Cons: The instant I installed the NVidia drivers it throws the warning message that says the Auxilary power connector is not connected. So it lowers the clock speed on the card to almost nothing. I switch out the card with an x800GTO2 and that worked fine and did not complain. My power supply is more then powerful enough to handle the 7800GTX. There has to be a defect in the card.

Other Thoughts: As usual Newegg was great, I ordered it friday morning and it shipped friday afternoon. UPS as usual sucked. The package looked like the driver kicked it up to my door, but the cards box looked fine when I opened the package.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Fast

Pros: Very very fast! Gets 145 FPS on CSS! Nothing lags this baby at all. Everything just runs smooth. Runs great on battlefield 2 and Quake 4.

Cons: Gets a little bit hot with stock heatsink and is a little noisy. A ft. long but fitted in mine fine, make sure you have a enough room though.

Other Thoughts: My system:
MSI K8 Neo4 platinum SLI
AMD Athlon 64 3700+
1GB RAM
200GB
XFX GeForce 7800 GTX
Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS Platinum
MGE Viper Case
Rosewill 550 watt powersupply
