Pros: Worked with my Firewire 410 audio interface (for a time).

Cons: After 18 months, became intermittent - only parts of pages would print over USB printer, audio was highly intermittent over firewire. Replaced card (with a different model), everything's perfect again.

Pros: None

Cons: I bought this card to do some video capture using the Firewire ports. Once the video started coming through the computer was almost unusable. Sometimes just by plugging the camera in this would happen. I swapped in a card from another machine to do a test and it worked fine, so this card was no good from the beginning.

Pros: Great product. i just plugged it in and have not had a problem with it. i bought it because i have an old mb that doesn't have usb 2.0. i have a 750 Gb hard drive that has greatly benefited from this addition. it used to tske a few seconds for it to boot up now it's a lot quicker. thanks newegg.

Cons: you haven't bought one yet.

Other Thoughts: buy it today.
