Fantastic Buy!
- Pros: Dual fans that have an intelligent control (only speed up if it needs it) 500W of stable power with dual 12v rails for overclocking. Price is unbeatable.
- Cons: When and if the thing gets hot enough (which can sometimes happen depending on how good the airflow in your case is) the fans go to full speed and are quite noisy. If you have a good case with a few case fans this won't be a problem since the internal fans will never go to full speed. Again the price is unbeatable.
- Other Thoughts: Here's what it's running for me:
Athlon 64 X2 4400 o/c 2.42Ghz
Asus AV8-Deluxe mobo with 6 USB ports (all used most of the time) and 1 Firewire (also used)
2 Gigs of RAM
Two 16X Pioneer DVD-RW drives
Two SATA HDs
GeForce 6800 Ultra (requires two separate molex connectors since it's a power hog)
Even with all that running, I have yet to have a problem with this PSU. I always recommend this unit due to it's notorious reliablity and price point. You just can't beat it.
- Pros: Super price, plenty of power. I have 3 Plextor CD/DVD drives, 3 7200 RPM HD's, A GF4 5900XT (which pulls from both the AGP bus and has a direct connection to the PSU), 2 GB of memory, and a pile of other peripherals hanging off this thing and no problems. The temp controlled fans are pretty quiet compared to other PSU's I've owned. And, as always, super fast shipping and awesome service from NewEgg!

- Pros: I've had this since november of 2007, been powering 2 computers, my old socket 939 rig and my new rig, and handles it like a champ, on 24/7/365
