5 out of 5 eggsWorking good

Pros: Looks good, 3 fans, average noise, no problems at all

Cons: Did not purchase it from newegg

Other Thoughts: Pondering if this will give my new radeon 1650 ICEQ AGP 512 pro enough power in a full case.

1 out of 5 eggsGet something better

Pros: It looks neat. The finish is nice and there's a nice hearty, warm glow from it. It lasted me about 5 months.

Cons: Very hot. Even with the side panels taken off of my computer I couldn't place my hand on the top of the case.

After about 5 months it blew a 3" shower of sparks out of one of the fan ports and the power supply toasted everything else except my RAM and HD.

Other Thoughts: At least I got my rebate check.

2 out of 5 eggsCareful, read the fine print

Pros: Inexpensive, and simply perfect for the Pentium 3 "Coppermine" systems. It does what it claims--which isn't much!

Cons: +12v rail is pathetic, Antec sells same wattage with nearly twice the amperage. I do not recommend this psu except for replacement in a legacy PC.

Other Thoughts: Be very careful with this one...nowadays the CPU and video card use the +12V rail, and the hdds and cdroms use +12V as they always have. VERY FEW uses for the +3.3v rail which for some strange reason they slapped 38 amperage capability on that one. Trust me...14 amps on the +12v is NOT ENOUGH for ANY SORT OF GAMING. Don't care what your friends told you, don't care about the "450 Watts" it has. +3.3V is used for little if any modern PC devices, so they are screwing everyone they sell this to. I use it in an old Pentium 2 system and it works. Other than that or Athlon/P4 with low end graphics and no raid (ironically), it is fine.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Good product.

Cons: Bad company.

Other Thoughts: This is a follow-up to the review I wrote in February. The company has still failed to honor my rebate check. I would recommend checking out the Better Business Bureau before purchasing from them. They have a company rating of 'F' due to complaints such as mine. I would hate to see what would happen if the product failed while still under warranty. I know Newegg would step up if Raidmax refused assistance, but that does not replace the obligations of the manufacturer.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Very quiet, cheap, and cools down my CPU dramatically via an extra fan sitting directly on top of it.

Cons: Manufacturer did not honor the $20 mail-in rebate. Now I have to spend extra time notifying the appropriate bureaus.

Other Thoughts: I would have given this product 5 stars if the manufacturer followed through with the rebate. It is a great product; just make sure you cross your fingers if you purchase this with a mail-in rebate offer.

5 out of 5 eggsReliable PSU

Pros: Steady voltages, looks nice, not silent but pretty quiet...

Cons: NONE

Other Thoughts: I've heard alot of people talking down Raidmax PSUs, but I have yet to get a bad one or have one die (have purchased more than 50 for various builds in the last year)

5 out of 5 eggsGood enough for mid range

Pros: - Runs my Geforce 6600 GT with 3 HD's and a DVD burner and 4 fans
- Nice color, though i only see it out the back of the case, no window

Cons: - Molex Cables are too short for my case
- Not enough Molex cables, had to use molex cable splitter to use my video card and to extend the length of molex to reach components.

Other Thoughts: Nice and cheap and it works! I hear so many bad reviews of cheap PSU's, This one is still churnin out power with good enough rails
