Modular Makes it Simpler
- Pros: Actually, I rate a '5' until learning how things should be done while installing this unit. Modular cabling makes it possible for builders to minimize wiring messes--connect only the cables that apply to your particular install, and keep choose between SATA and IDE power cabling for unique build types. Unit also came with silicon template.
- Cons: none so far
- Other Thoughts: Thermaltake has a fun system of stickers to show participation in user support programs. I ordered a Thermaltake case, power supply, and processor fan unit, and all three came with the 'Key 3' level sticker. With all the different types of cooling products they make, they could colorize stickers to represent product type--then system builders could indicate every product type without redudant (identical) stickers on their boxes.
Nice and clean.
- Pros: Provides clean, stable power with sleeved, modular power connections. Fan grill is integrated into the case itself. Nice touch.
- Cons: Runs warmer than I expected, but this is the first power supply I've used over 400W.
