5 out of 5 eggsnothing wrong with power supply, it working good and easy to install. this power supply is cheap and good work.

Pros: I do tell my friend, my neighbor all about this product.

Cons: this power supply, when you bring to oversea you must to turn the electric to 220. In the USA only use 110.

Other Thoughts: this power supply is run very quiet. this is good product.

2 out of 5 eggs2 dead ones in a row.

Pros: Good value for the price.
Large 120mm fan.

Cons: I bought 2 of these, and BOTH of them are confirmed defective.
Power switch will not stay off, but springs back to the on position.
Units randomly shut down and will not power back up until the power cord is unplugged and re-plugged.

Other Thoughts: Very unusual to get 2 bad items in one batch. I guess quality control at the factory was having a bad day.

I opted for a full refund instead of trying a 3rd one.

1 out of 5 eggsDoes not operate at 550W

Pros: Comes with plenty of screws
Works for VERY low watt systems

Cons: Did not supply enough wattage to power my ~400W computer build

Other Thoughts: I bought the power supply for my custom build, and didn't think I'd have any issue with it, considering it had far more wattage than I thought I'd ever need. I was wrong.
Upon starting up my computer, everything worked and powered on fine. I went to install the OS (Windows 7 64-bit), and that worked up until the first restart. It restarted the computer just fine, but when it went to finish installing the OS, the computer would randomly shut itself off completely.
We spent hours and hours troubleshooting it, thinking it was possibly the OS, or incompatible parts, or even the hard drive. Took an entire day, and we still had no resolution.
The next day we tried a few other things, such as different operating systems (Windows 7 32-bit and Windows XP), a different Optical Drive, and a different hard drive. None of these worked. Finally, I gave up and took it to a local computer store, where they began to troubleshoot it. They tested the RAM, it was fine, they tested the graphics card, it was fine, they checked to see if the CPU had any bent pins, they didn't, until finally they decided to plug in their own power supply. Lo and behold, the computer worked flawlessly!
For some reason, this 550W power supply was not powerful enough for a simple motherboard, FX-8350, and a GTX 750. Very, very disappointed.
I ended up buying a power supply from my local store, and am hoping for a return on this one.
0/100, this power supply did NOT operate as advertised.

5 out of 5 eggsarrived and works

Pros: I use these all the time for standard desktop computers. Just don't over do it with expectations like video cards and multiple hard drives. I like integrated graphics, one BD-r and 1 hard drive. 2 sticks of ram max.

Cons: none if used as intended.

Other Thoughts: I have 3 machines with these. 1 24/7 for over a year. The other is used occasionally. The new one will be used as a second multi media system in another room.

Pros: Nothing at all

Cons: First one I received didn't even work
Waited almost 2 weeks again for to replace it and get it to me
Was able to use it about 15 mins

Other Thoughts: DO NOT BUY THIS

Don't waist your time or money on this junk

5 out of 5 eggsGood low cost supply

Pros: Inexpensive
Great air flow
Reliable
Quiet

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I've had these in 24/7 operation in a general purpose workstation & a file server for almost 2 years without a hiccup. The advertised wattage may be a little optimistic, but the supply is rock solid if used in a 400ish watt application. Definitely a good value.
