3 out of 5 eggsworked well for awhile

Pros: Had the powersupply for one year and three months. It fried my entire computer

Cons: Worked great up until the point that it blew up

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Valued Customer,
We are sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused you. We try to engineer our products to high standards. We do not know why the power supply died after a year. If you have any questions please give us a call at 800-575-9885.
Thanks,
Rosewill Customer Care

5 out of 5 eggsNo complaints

Pros: It supplies power to motherboards and components. Multiple SATA power connectors, two fans. Blue LED. It is, after all, a power supply. Not exactly the center piece of any PC.

Cons: It only has 2 SATA connectors, and one of those - I forget what they're called connectors, only seen them used on a few PC's - look like old AT type connectors but they're for certain P4 boards - could have been optional. And it has a blue LED - LEDs don't impress me.

Other Thoughts: It wouldn't hurt to dump the weird old-school P4 power connector in favor of more SATA connectors, and dump the LED.
Other than that, this is great unit.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Product

Pros: I am extremely satisfied with this product and the price I paid for it. I have now had the unit for over 2 months and have had absolutely no issues at all. The delivery speed from NewEgg.com was great (as usual). The fan speed adjustment is an awesome benefit, although I pretty much always leave it at the highest speed because it is so quiet.

Cons: Nothing I can place in this Cons section.

4 out of 5 eggsBlue Light Special!!

Pros: Fan control knob to keep noise level down somewhat is really cool. Only lets you go down to 80% so you won't turn it down too low and burn it up. I didn't notice a drop in sound level when dialing down the fans, so I'd leave it at max. Wasn't that loud to begin with. Looks really cool, and glows a bright blue!

Cons: Can't power two computers at once with it...

Other Thoughts: When you dial the fan speed down, the blue light also dims down. That fascinated me to no end for about 5 minutes... Also, come to think of it - my computer boots up in HALF the time, and some lag is gone from WoW. Wow, my old PS must've really sucked!

2 out of 5 eggsAre these a Joke?

Pros: It looks as though it may be a good thing.

Cons: I purchased this product a month and a half ago, the FIRST one comes to my door DOA. No advertised "Blue LED" when plugged in... POP went the Power Supply on power up.
I RMA like needed, wait the 2 weeks for that and the new power supply has the same issue! No LED when plugged in, all the symptoms of a repeat occurance!

Other Thoughts: I haven't powered the system up yet in fear of having the same thing happen as last time. I do not want to go through more RMA.....
I will look again soon to see if there is something I am missing, but no advertised Blue LED out of the box again?

What is the matter with this product?

2 out of 5 eggsOK while it worked

Pros: Quiet, good looking, and powerful while it ran. Very pleased for the first month.

Cons: It malfunctioned by blowing something on the inside after about 3.5 months. I'm currently in the process of getting it replaced under warranty.

Other Thoughts: It was probably just bad luck of the draw...I would probably buy one again unless I start seeing a trend...

5 out of 5 eggsdoes what i expected

Pros: -cheep
-looks good

Cons: fan made some noise on the first day that i got it. (my case pushed the fan cage in and it rubbed) fixed it and never heard from it again.

Other Thoughts: constant power, no problems at all.
the fan knob is nice, but i would rather have the power supply control the fan by temp.
for xx.xx$$ on a 500w power supply this is a good deal
