5 out of 5 eggsFor the people who say this won't Handle a quad

Pros: Upgraded my computer and kept this as the PSU and have seen no problems since I bought it in 2007.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: I will have to see if holds up to the HD 6970 that is on the way but the math works out for it.

Pros: Owned for over a year without any issues. Noise is not an issue. Cable connectors are great.

Cons: Nothing major comes to mind

Other Thoughts: Solid device at a good price.

5 out of 5 eggstrusted buy prevails yet again

Pros: this is my second x-clio power supply, and yet again not at all disappointed,
If you like nice tidy wiring harness's and availability to add more little gadgets with out all the extra wires hanging around.
I highly recommend these units. it's been almost 2 years since last purchase of one and it never gets hot, nor do i ever notice power fluctuations. they use air craft style wrapping on the wires preventing nicks or cuts.

Cons: n/a

Other Thoughts: the wires seem to be a little long but i would rather have a little extra than not enough. which i have ran into with other power supplies, which makes wiring a total pain in the back side.
I have built several PC's in the last few years and i would definitely put this in my top ten list.

5 out of 5 eggsStill chugging along

Pros: What can I say but good things about these PSU's. Bought mine in May of 2006, been running 24/7 ever since, and still working rock solid.
Currently it's paired with a supplemental PSU that runs my GTX285, while this Xclio runs my 8800GTS for physx, an MSI 790FXGD70 MB, 2 HDD's in RAID 0, 2 DVD drives, 6 case fans, and a PII 965 BE CPU.
Has run rock solid from day one. Now over 4.5 years 24/7.

Cons: You're kidding right?

Other Thoughts: Current system this PSU runs:

Thermaltake Armor Case w/250mm side intake
MSI 790FX GD70 AM3 MB
AMD PII X4 965 PSU @ 3.7ghz
Crucial Ballistix Tracer 2x2GB DDR3 1333@1466 6-6-6-20 1T
2 WD 250GB HDD's RAID 0
SB Xfi Extreme Music PCIe
XFX 8800GTS 640MB for physx 535/1310/1720mhz
3-120mm Scythe Slipstream 110CFM & 2-92mm Tt case fans
Nexus 4channel Fan Controller

*GTX285 is Powered by an FSP Booster X5 450W Plus PSU w/ an Acer 22" WS Monitor

1 out of 5 eggsProblem

Pros: They make a pretty good powersupply as long as it works! Now there is no where to get support for this company or any that will return your emails.

Cons: The unit came in DOA and I waited over the 30 day return for newegg so I started to find support for an RMA. They have a email address which is not answered. No phone numbers to get hold any support. So if you do buy these products hope they work because there is no support in this country for XCLIO. Check it out before you buy.

Other Thoughts: I just put together another build with a 750 W XCLIO and it works great. Now my question is for how long and can I get any support. This is really a problem if you are building for someone else when they live across the country from you.

4 out of 5 eggsGood PS, Loud though

Pros: Easy install, I like the cables; easy to route without being too easy/flexy. Puts out plenty of power to run 2 Sapphire Radeon 4870's.

Cons: Pretty loud. From reading other reviews, mine is not typical, but I'm not willing to shut down my PC and wait for a replacement PS. So I'll deal with it.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid

Pros: Been using this PSU for over 2 years now in a system that is on 24/7, and it's still running rock solid. Was a bit pricier when I bought it ($160), but well worth the money. Also convinced my roommate to use the same one, and his too has been going for over 2 years now with no issues at all. They are rock solid. Easily runs a system with an 8800GTX, 2 250gb HDD's in RAID, 2 DVD-RW, 5 case fans + fan controller, Crosshair AM2 MB, X2 4800, 2x1gb Mushkin XP DDR2 800, Xfi Titanium, no problems at all.

Cons: Not a one.

Other Thoughts: I did a ton of research on PSU's when I purchased this one. The information I found claims that the parts used inside these power supplies, are supplied by the same company that supplies the parts for Antec PSU's. So basically it's a less expensive Antec. Do some research, save yourself a chunk of change. Xclio makes great power supplies. Would recommend them to anyone.
