With 600 watts of pulsating real power, the Xion PowerReal is "the" choice for gamers and enthusiasts alike. Built to feed the beast, the PowerReal is simply advanced power engineering. Boosting independent 12V rails supply to MB/CPU and drives, it provides clean and reliable power to your hungry devices. Sitting on top of the core circuitry is a one of a kind patented ultra-silent 140 mm cooling fan that cools everything so your system stays chill. The fan's blue LED, gives a unique "Xion"-ic look to the PowerReal.
The manual/automatic fan speed switch allows you to make manual adjustments to suit your needs, or use the Auto setting, wherein it detects and adjusts the fan speed automatically. The Titanium Nickel coated surface makes the PowerReal very durable. This PSU is SLI ready, and ensures that your purchase won't be rendered obsolete by the onslaught of newer technologies. The PowerReal is designed to last long, with its MTBF (Mean Time Before Failure) of 100,000+ hours.

No Problems So Far!
- Pros: - Extremely quiet
- Great airflow - LED light is cool - Stable power (so far) - Plenty of power - SLI supported
- Cons: - Fan controller resets after a reboot
- Other Thoughts: So far I haven't had any problems with this PSU. It has been running in my system flawlessly and has been running for a week strait. I am powering 6 HDDs, 2 of which are WD Raptors, and a pretty demanding system. I almost gave it a 4 because I am worried about it failing, but I have no reason to believe it will. Voltages are right on and are stable, and I have had no random shutdowns or errors. As of right now, I would recommend this PSU very highly. And as always, NewEgg was great!
My System: AMD Athlon X2 4400+ DFI Lanparty UT nF4 Ultra-D 2GB Corsair XMS Audigy 2 ZS eVGA 7800GTX Xion 600 Watt PSU (This PSU) Thermalright XP-120 w/ 120mm Fan 2X WD Raptor 74GB 3X WD 80GB HDD + 1X WD 120GB HDD
My last Xion product
- Pros: So far I've had no problems running my gaming rig/ home computer. PSU stays pretty cool.
- Cons: I only gave this 3 stars because I believe Xion ripped me off on the rebate. Sent my rebate away probably 3.5 monthes ago and still have not received my money back. In my opinion your $100 dollars is better spent elsewhere on a trusted company.

Scam rebate BEWARE!!
- Pros: It works fine.
- Cons: Received power supply Thursday July 5 & sent in rebate postmarked July 6. Rebate stated "allow 8-12 weeks after claimed is received by fulfillment company to receive your rebate." After waiting 154 days (22 weeks) I emailed Xion. Then I had to wait another 3 days (December 11) for an email stating the rebate check was sent out. Finally! on December 14 I received the check DATED JULY 11 2007. Why was the check DATED July 11 but mailed on December 11??
- Other Thoughts: Read the reviews for Xion products for rebate problems & do a search too. Newegg is a GREAT company but, Xion seems to be running a rebate scam. AVOID Xion if you plan on getting a rebate. I will continue to shop at Newegg because Newegg ROCKS!
this sucks
- Pros: good power for the first 6 months. called company to get RMA for them to fix it (as it is still under warantty) and was told newegg would fix it. that is not neweggs job.
- Cons: still cant beleive this thing quit in 6 months running athlon 64 FX60 @2.8ghz, 2GB dr500, 2x 7900GS Xtreme (XFX 525/1550)in SLI mode, 3 cd-rw, 1-dvdrw 2 sata drives.
the power supply should not all of the sudden decide to quit liek this at all.
- Other Thoughts: i will never buy this brand again, replaced with 650watt cooler master ultra silent, wich oddly, can ouput 780watts for short times.
Will not get rebate
- Pros: Works great. Two 12V rails.
- Cons: Did not receive the rebate.
- Other Thoughts: This company can't be trusted. They don't honor their rebates.
